Got bored at late night to take pics at the CRK Hidden Kingdom Hub (I might go here soon but I felt a little nervous about this…)
6 Steps of Liminal Spaces
'Lack' - An environment which lacks important features or furniture. Typically things which are seen as essential in that environment.
'Repetition' - A room (most often a corridor) which seems to repeat it's features, often for an unclear (potentially infinite) distance.
'Placement' - The Physically illogical environment, where the furniture, lighting, decorations, textures or design is illogical or uncanny.
'Size Distortion' - An environment where select aspects, features or furniture in a room are illogically small or big, while the majority of the room is the the correct scale.
''Controlled distortion'' - A logical environment on the physical basis with all variables such as design, lighting, cleanness and visual information density being controlled or aligned with the logic of the real world. Instead of distorting that, what is distorted is the function or social meaning of an environment. A room that is logically correct but set up in a way which feels wrong in a ''past experience'' way.
'Social Presence' - An environment typically built to support many people (such as an airport or a shopping mall) being completely abandoned, showing no signs of life.
(No design, this one is basically a lack of humans in a place you'd expect to see them, basically every design I've made could technically be seen as 'Social Presence'

For whoever is wanting to get the tmnt empire city game I 100% recommend pre-ordering. If you pre order it's 20 dollars but after April 30th (when it comes out) it's 25 dollars. Not to mention if you pre-order you also get a free owari mask cosmetic!
I feel like Virtual Reality games and systems would be better if they were just... Better.
It's prohibitively expensive, there are a very small amount of games you can play compared to other systems of the same price, many of those games have incredibly small gameplay loops or are low quality/have no polish, its unsafe for many people who have certain medical conditions, and it must be connected to the Internet for like 70-90% of its games as there is no way to use most headsets with physical media.
So there's not really a reason for devs to continually make VR games and polish them
