guys the biggest letdown in blue lock is the fact that kira got killed off (he is not dead he's just gone and I'm mourning)

honestly I'm calling it right now once the NEL finishes and they go to the U-20 world cup, they're gonna play against a country like portugal or argentina and kira is gonna be on that team seeking revenge for what isagi did to him (its literally not even his fault)

this makes sm sense in my head like why else would they kill off what could have been a main character. and since I'm pretty sure the whole not being able to play for the national team is strictly limited to Japan, kira may have got an offer from a really good club and could just have been training ever since and we would never know bc there's no exposure to media in blue lock.

Just realized, Isagi’s eyes become puzzle pieces when he uses metavision. Took me too long to realize.

I was playing football with my brother yesterday and i realised what a difference meta vision makes in the game.

ofc it was just a one on one which I happen to be pretty good at even tho I haven't played in years (I've never played for a team or anything, just at school for pe lol)

anyways when your opponent has possession of the ball it's important to spot openings and use them to your advantage.

for example if they're trying to change direction, most likely there's gonna be a point where they're off balance, so you use that and charge in to get the ball.

also with the concept of meta vision, I feel like something that blue lock doesn't talk about that is an important component is using your ears. ofc isagi's thing is with his eyes and what not, but using your ears helps to enhance meta vision

my vision is kinda shitty (me and yukimiya twinnem) so when I don't have my glasses I end up squinting a lot. I don't like squinting bc it feels weird, so instead I just use my ears.

so applying that to football, if you're on the pitch and you can't see any opponents, use your ears to identify if anyone is near you. this way you can determine their proximity to you and make a move based on that. most of the time your teammates aren't gonna be right next to you, they'll distance themselves to provide space for you to pass. so if you hear footsteps behind or next to you, more likely than not, it's gonna be someone from the opposing team. using that, you can change direction and set up a pass or set up to score.

WIP of a bamboo plant in my home

Why’s drawing gotta be so hard? I know I just don’t put enough effort to learn, but I feel like even the basic’s aren’t sticking. Like, I hear artists break down the things they look at into basic shapes, but that just sounds like Blue Lock meta vision to me.

I imagine there are tons of ideas in other people’s heads, but they can’t express them because they can’t write or draw as well as they want. I wish things were easier so we’d get some more peak fiction.

I’m sure I can get things down if I try hard enough, but I felt like venting some frustrations.
