Deep Sea Bebes, a print done on metal etching
I have made a TLT thing! Based on the skull from the TOR webbed site. I can’t wait to do more!!!!!
some process photos below the cut:
i've been experimenting with metal etching for the last month or so. I made myself a sleep token pendant just for fun and to see if I could do something small and detailed. It's a mess but it's MY mess. Now the questions is do i wear it to the family function tonight lol
I was gonna crop this but look at my cute dog in the bg :(((((
Acid etching in brass.
8cm diameter, 2mm thick, plus 2mm of craft foam underneath.
Finally, after two months, my gift to @xiaolindude has arrived! (So I can finally show it off!)
I learned how to metal etch in order to make this replica of Raimundo Pedrosa's necklace, because after searching and searching, I couldn't find anything pre-made that would do.

Art description: handmade geek-chic jewelry and accessories, including pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets, tie clips, cuff links, key chains, and dice bags. Because all of my pieces are made by me, by hand, each item is unique - even if I try to replicate something, it’ll never be quite exactly the same. This also means I have a lot of creative freedom, and am always open to discussing commissions and custom work!
In this post, I thought I would highlight some of my nerdy etchings and stampings. The bronze cuff bracelets are customizable, so if there’s a particular saying you’d like, I can most likely make it happen!
Who doesn’t love a little Galaxy Quest (left)? Or Doctor Who (right)? I can stamp metal all day. (Well, maybe not all day. I’m not Captain America or Thor, after all.)
If bracelets aren’t your thing, I also etch smaller pieces in various shapes and metals (bronze or copper) for earrings or pendants or key chains!
You can wear proof that Tony Stark has a heart right on your ears for everyone to see.
Or maybe you just happen to roll really well all of the time! But hopefully not really poorly...
And yes, you can mix and match these, so if you feel shippy, there are options there too! Any fans of Steve and Bucky? If not, don’t worry, I have all the Avengers available (plus a few not-quite-yet Avengers)...
And also some DC options too!
All of these bronze and copper pieces are coated to help prevent tarnish and discoloration. Because all the stamping is done by hand, and etching is an acid process, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same, and may end up with distinct variations in appearance. Just think of them as being entirely unique!
Whatever your jam, there’s a whole lot more to see at my website HERE.
