Ferrokinesis is the power to create, shape and manipulate metal. This includes being able to lift and move any object made of metal or coated in a metallic substance. Those that wield this power can also reshape metal into different forms and objects of varying detail and permanence ranging from simple shapes and images to functional items such as tools and weapons. They can also sense the presence of metal and possibly gain a detailed understanding about the metal they are sensing. Over time this power can grow to the point where the wielder can even transform matter and objects, including living beings into metal, especially gold. Thus making this power highly desirable and potentially for all the wrong reasons.
Back when people were living in mud round houses and living in small communities off the land. A discovery was made, one that would change the future of these simple peoples. That discovery was possibly made by accident, we just don’t know. It all started with a lump of metal ore that was somehow heated up so much it turned into a liquid form (also called smelting). On cooling, the stone age…
So this is just something short that I wrote for fun. One of the many ideas running through my head.

Description: What happens when the youngest Avenger gets left behind on a mission with a grudge against Tony Stark?
Masterlist
“So Tony thinks he can leave me behind on a mission, huh? Wants to act like an overbearing brother. Well, then. Let’s see how he likes this.” You laughed quietly as you talked to yourself.
You had joined the Avengers two years ago, after the events in Slovakia, regarding Ultron. You were only [y/a] but you matured fast, being an enhanced. You had the ability to manipulate metal and absorb energy. Came in pretty hand in this era of technology.
Right now you were sneaking through Tony’s lab, trying not to alert Bruce to the fact that you were in the restricted zone.
You giggled again as you spied your targets. Tony’s suits. You walked up to the first one. Standing up straight, you pulled your best Tony Impersonation. “Now [y/n] you know this mission might take a while.” You reached out with your pointer finger, slightly touching the chest of the suit.
Slowly the suit morphed, the metal screeching and twisting as it changed into an Iron man suit….for a dog.
You laughed as you moved onto the next one. “You still need more training, [y/n].” You made that one into a donkey.
“We can’t be looking out for you all the time.” A parrot.
“We have enough help, we don’t need a child.” A giant rat.
Your anger was slowly building, so as you reached the final suit you stared at it, imagining it was Tony, “I am not a child, I...am...PRODIGY!” The lights in the lab sparked as you absorbed the energy from the suit, turning to a bare wall, you released the energy, carving your hero name into the wall from the blast. You placed your hand on the suit, focusing. Slowly the suit followed you to your calling card, morphing into a likeness of you.
You stepped back, hands on your hips, “That outta show him not to think of me like a child.”
“Miss [Y/n] you wished to be alerted when the team was returning. Their jet has just landed.”
You raced out of the lab, calling up to the AI, “Thanks FRIDAY.”
You raced to the common area, jumping over the couch, you grabbed the book you had left their earlier. You opened it right as the team came through the doors. You tried to level your breathing.
You looked up at them, “Hey guys. How was it?”
You had to bite your cheek at the sight of them in front of you. Steve and Natasha were covered in what appeared to be plaster. Wanda and Vision were glaring at Tony. And Tony. Oh lord. Tony was soaking wet.
“What happened?’” You looked to Steve.
“The intel was wrong. When we got to the site, it wasn’t a warehouse. It was a nunnery.”
You raised a hand to try to stifle your laugh, but some still spilled out. “Oh my god.”
Steve looked over at Tony who was marching, squishing, towards his lab. “The nuns did not take well to Tony asking if Jesus was around to turn the water they offered us into wine.”
That explained why he was soaked. You could just imagine it. “Well….If I was you I would run. Like soon. Cause if he wasn’t in a bad mood before, he will be.”
Steve, Natasha, Wanda and Vision all turned to stare at you with varying looks of distrust and horror. Natasha was the first to speak up, “[y/n]...what did you do?”
Before you could respond an enraged scream could be heard echoing through the tower, “That’s my cue guys. See ya!” You gave them a jaunty wave and grin before running towards your room, laughing as you heard Steve reenter the common area.
“Where is she!? That little brat! She turned all my suits into animals and deformed the Mark 28 into a statue of herself!”
You entered your room, shutting the door behind you, “FRIDAY don't allow anyone in, even Stark. Remember, I can control you if you don't.”
The AI Responded, “I do recall miss [y/n] I will do my best so as to not repeat the incident.”
“Thanks FRIDAY.” You crawled into your bed, still laughing. “That'll teach him.”
The ability to manipulate metal. User can create, shape and manipulate metal, a solid material (an element, compound, or alloy) that is typically hard, shiny, and features good electrical and thermal conductivity. Metals are generally malleable — they can be hammered or pressed permanently out of shape without breaking or cracking — as well as fusible and ductile.
In DOFP, Logan holds the newspaper down with his bone claws and Erik says, "imagine if they were made of metal." Which seems like an odd thing to say in-universe, BUT my theory is that over the years, Erik has just become really salty about the fact that he can only manipulate metal rather than being entirely telekinetic. This isn't just an offhand comment he makes to Logan; this is something he says nearly every day. When the pentagon guards bring him his meals - "imagine if this pie was made of metal" In every day life - "imagine if this coffee cup was made of metal" Because let's be honest, if you only had a fraction of telekinesis rather than a whole thing, you would get so pissed off. So when says "imagine if they were made of metal" about Logan's claws, in his head he's thinking "WHY WAS IT JUST METAL. SOME PEOPLE CAN MOVE ANY OBJECT WITH THEIR MIND, WHY IS MY MUTATION JUST METAL AND NOTHING MORE, GODDAMMIT"
