Do you really play as Rika in the new V route? It says "another story"

I honestly have no clue, I have no more information about how this new route works than anyone else.

I do a lot of speculating, but the fact that 1) Rika is there and 2) her, V, and Unknown have new looks tell me something is up. The music isn’t as catchy and up-beat as the Original Opening either.

Let me put it this way, Mystic Messenger has yet to super rip our hearts out. The April Fool’s DLC was just a small peek into what they are actually capable of. And, as someone who HAS completed the full storyline that is out already (minus some bad ends), I think that this isn’t going to be a happy, pleasurable time as Cheritz suggested. 

I think this and possibly an Unknown route (however that would work too) are now the time for Cheritz to just rip out hearts.

Hello! What info do we have on Kallo Jath? Will he be presented in further announcements and trailers? Im so exited about him! :D

Hi! Not much unfortunately. he’s our salarian pilot. He’s written by Joanna Berry, who is also writing Cora, and voiced by Garrett Ross. He’s been described as “jaunty”. lately in development he’s been bugging/glitching out, lmao. this is his model from some stage during development, from the online portfolio of an artist who used to work at BioWare (Rodrigue Pralier). apparently the final game textures were done by one Herbert Lowis.

Our first look at Kallo in marketing was in the second cinematic trailer. He narrates the Tempest and Nomad briefing - in that he tells us he’s been the Tempest’s pilot since her prototype days and that his place is on the bridge. He enthuses about the ship and her capabilities and seems really proud of and confident in her. From his narration he comes off as light-hearted and seems to have a sense of humor. From the narration he also seems like a total nerd for cool shit like vehicles - listen to him breathily waxing lyrical about the Nomad’s specs. what an adorable dweeb. we also know that among other accomplishments, Kallo was one of the engineers who built the Tempest in its Milky Way construction, and knows the ship inside and out. evidently he’s smart and skilled. both an engineer and a pilot.

on the speculative side of things, some people speculate he will be an asexual/chaste romance option/light romance.

and that’s about everything to my knowledge! We don’t know at this point if he will be presented in further marketing, but I’m sure we’ll find out a bit more about him in the coming days, since the embargo lifts tomorrow.

- Okuyasu will treat his s/o like a princess no matter what, so the fact that they can be a little bit bratty doesn’t really bother him as much as it should. A himedere s/o might soften a little bit at how quickly Okuyasu nods and follows their demands and the way he looks at them like they’re the sun itself - Okuyasu is the kind of boy who loves whole-heartedly, and that’s appealing to his s/o. - He sometimes is a little bit too kind. He knows, realistically, that his s/o really should do some things themselves, that he’s being used a bit - but it’s just so nice to look at his s/o and see that they’re smiling at him, to hear them say ‘thank you’, that he overlooks it. - And taking on a protector/knight type role over his s/o makes him feel like he’s wanted and valuable, too, something Okuyasu doesn’t feel too often. He’s been told that he’s dumb and useless so much that he worries that he really is - his s/o obviously needing him and appreciating his presence is a really big confidence boost for him. - At first, all of Okuyasu’s friends were vehemently against him being with his s/o. They thought that Okuyasu was being used - and, maybe at first, he was. They’re used to seeing people mistreat their big-hearted but a little dim friend - it took a long time for them to see the softness in s/o’s eyes when they looked at Okuyasu and the little smile on their face. After they did, though, they thought that maybe . . . maybe having someone he can protect might be good for Okuyasu and give him a little more confidence. -
