34 #seedlings salvaged today from the 2018 pomace pile, having survived a full year with no irrigation and strong deer pressure. They came up with roots safe in intact dirt clods, which I’m not messing with to minimize root stress. Open-pollinated seeds from mostly #WicksonCrab #GoldenRusset and #NewtownPippin, with some #Mettais, #Domaines, #ReineDesPommes, #MarieMenard and #MuscadetteDeDieppe.
