Prompt: 25 - “sometimes you can even see”

Fandom: SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic)

Paring: mentions of Theron/Sith Inquisitor

Jace was never exactly close to Theron. That was something he had always regretted. He may not always agree with his son's choices (Darth Imperius), but he still cared about him. Satele's and Theron's disappearance was something that hit Jace hard. The last time Jace saw Theron they talked about his relationship with Darth Imperius. Now the Sith Lord is dead by Emperor Arcann’s hand and there was a fragile peace between the Zakuulan Empire and the Republic. 

Jace walked into the office of the Director of the SIS Marcus Trant. He sat down in front of the Director.As much as Jace hated to admit it he was jealous of the man. Trant knew far more about Theron than Jace ever did. After all Trant has no Theron for almost twenty years and Jace has known him for a couple years. Though Jace had tried, it was harder than he thought. As much as Theron probably didn't want to admit it  sometimes you can even see Theron’s similarities to Satele and Jace. 

"I'm glad you can make it." Trant said and Jace nodded.

"You had information on Theron." Jace said and Trant nodded. Though he seemed to be hesitating. 

"How much do you know about what happened on Yavin?" Trant asked and Jace frowned.

"I know that the Grandmaster's fleet went there along with the forces of Darth Imperius and Darth Marr to defeat the false Revan. Grandmaster Satele had a theory that Theron was into Darth Imperius." Jace said

"The Grandmaster may be more right than she thought." Trant muttered and Jace looked at him in confusion. "When I briefed Theron I could tell that he knew far more than he was letting on in regards to Darth Imperius. He spent months with her and yet claimed to know nothing that the Republic didn't already know." 

"You didn't consider it a security risk?" Jace asked in confusion. 

"I did until I got this from one of my agents inside the Empire." Trant said and he pulled out a recording. 

"Master, I have looked in all Imperial databases. Theron Shan is not mentioned in anything." Jace recognized the voice as the Jedi traitor Ashara Zavros. One of the apprentices of Darth Imperius.

"He is a good agent." The mechanical voice of Darth Imperius said

"But Master surely he has done something against the Empire." Zavros said

"How much do you know about Technoplague?" Darth Imperius asked

"Technoplague is an unknown Republic agent that is responsible for the death of two Dark Council members; Darth Mekhis and Darth Karrid of the Sphere of Technology." Zavros said "You think Theron is Technoplague."

"I know he is." Darth Imperius said

"He told you?" Zavros asked

"No, when he hacked into my ship the technique was practically Technoplague's MO. Also, Theron mentioned Master Zho a known accomplice to Technoplague's killing of Darth Mekhis." Darth Imperius said

"Shouldn't you tell Acina and the Dark Council?" Zavros asked

"No." Darth Imperius said

"Master, with all do respect, he has killed Dark Council members he could kill you." Zavros said and Darth Imperius started to laugh. Jace's frown deepened at the fact that she thought it was laughable at the idea that Theron could kill her. "Master, this is serious." Zavros seemed annoyed at her master.

"If he succeeds then I'm sure Zash and Thanaton will send him a fruit basket from beyond the grave." Darth Imperius said

"We need to find you people that won't try to kill you." Zavros said

"That's what you, Talos, Oculus, and Khem are for." Darth Imperius said

"Master..." Zavros started

"Trust me, Ashara." Darth Imperius said

"Yes, Master." Zavros said and the recording ended.

Darth Imperius knew exactly who Theron was, yet she made no move to defeat him. She allowed the Empire to sit in its ignorance. 

"The bug was destroyed soon after the recording." Trant said

"Do you think Darth Imperius wanted us to hear this?" Jace asked and Trant shrugged.

"I won't pretend to understand the mind of a Sith, but I doubt this was accidental. She did remain true to her word the Empire still has no clue who Technoplague really is." Trant said 

"Do you think they were in a relationship?" Jace asked

"There was no proof that Theron ever met with Imperius, but he did meet with her apprentice." Trant said and he pulled out another recording. This one had video. He saw Theron sitting at a table in a cantina alone with a cloaked figure walking towards him. "This was about a week after the Barsen'thor's capture." Trant hit play on the recording. 

Jace could hear the cantina music coming from the holo. The cloaked figure got closer to Theron.

"Ashara." Theron said and Jace could barely make it out.

"I came to give you this." Zavros said and she handed Theron something.

"What is happening?" Theron asked as he looked at the object.

"My Master and Lord Beniko have a plan." Zavros said

"What are they?" Theron asked

"My Master's plan I don't know, but she claims that both the Empire and Republic won't make it two more months fighting Zakuul." Zavros said and Jace huffed at how accurate that was.

"You're joking, that would only be a year." Theron said and Zavros shook her head. This revealed part of her face to the camera.

"That's what my Master says and she is rarely wrong." Zavros said

"What is Lana's plan?" Theron asked 

"It's in the datapad. I need to go. May the Force be with you, Theron." Zavros said and she turned away. She walked away and the video ended, remaining on the last scene. 

May the Force be with you was something Jace had heard from Jedi not Sith. This confused him. Why hadn't she adapted to the Sith sayings?

"Do you think he went to the Empire?" Jace asked fearing the answer.

"According to my agent in the Empire, Theron never joined with any Imperial. In fact Minister Lana Beniko has left the Empire and has not been seen since." Trant said

"What do you think they are up to?" Jace asked

"I don't know it was clearly about something in that datapad." Trant said

Pre Theron Shan/Darth Imperius

Theron watched Darth Imperius as she spoke to Lana and her apprentice Ashara. He couldn’t help, but find the Dark Council member interesting. She wasn’t the first Dark Council member that Theron had met, but she was the oddest. 

Darth Imperius seemed to be kind. She was willing to work with the Republic. Not to mention she seemed to have no problem taking orders. She spared people without prompting and didn’t seem nearly as threatening as she should be. Darth Imperius seemed content to sit silently while Lana, Theron, and Jentinn came up with plans. Not to mention the off handed flirting she shot his way. Theron didn’t know what to do with that. 

When Theron had learned that he was going to be working with Darth Imperius he had done research on her and her crew; Khem Val, Andronikos Revel, Ashara Zavros, Talos Drellik, and Xivhkalrainik. Khem Val was a dashade that once served Tulak Hord. Andronikos Revel used to serve in the Republic military then he became a pirate. His crew then mutiny and he met up with Darth Imperius back when she was an apprentice. Ashara Zavros was a Jedi youngling that Darth Imperius manipulated and turned into her apprentice. Talos Drellik is a lieutenant in the Imperial Reclamation Service and helped Darth Imperius find ancient artifacts. Xivhkalrainik or Xalek was captured by a Sith during a battle and taken to Imperial labor camps. He was strong in the force so he was taken to Korriban where Imperius took him as one of her apprentices. Darth Imperius on the other hand there is nothing known about her past life. Even her species is a mystery, depending on the text she is either a Pureblood Sith, Human, or Chiss. 

Theron caught himself staring at the Dark Lord. He shook his head and looked back at his work. Ashara broke away from the group and walked towards Theron. She sat down in front of him. The young togruta smiled at him slightly. 

“Has the Captain responded yet?” Ashara asked and Theron shook his head. 

“No she will let us know once she finishes attacking the supply cache.” Theron said and then the terminal went off. Theron snorted at the Voidhound’s timing. Lana, Imperius, Ashara, and Theron walked over to the terminal. He answered the call and a holo of the infamous Captain Jentinn Riggs appeared in the pirate get up that she had bought for this occasion. 

“Their caches are ash. Hey that rhymed.” The Captain said 

“Nice work.” Theron said 

“We believe that one more attack should solidify our pirate feud and disguise our true goal.” Lana said 

“I heard one of the Nova Blades mention a slave camp. Is it right for me to assume that’s my next target?” The Captain said

“Slave camp?” Darth Imperius asked and she straitened in interest. Ashara had this look on her face that was a mixture of fear and horror. Theron wondered if it was the Nova Blades or the Tagruta’s master. 

“You remember me saying that the Nova Blades basically run things around here? For the most part they are pretty hands off. But if someone stands up to them or fails to pay their fees to live? The Blades grab them and ship them off to the slave camp.” Theron said 

“The slaves are a substantial part of the Nova Blades’ income, both through their labor in hazardous mines and as merchandise for offworld slave trades.” Lana said and the air seemed to get cold. It seemed to come from the Darth. 

“Not any longer. I will deal with the slave camps alone.” Imperius said 

“Master…” Ashara started but Imperius lifted her hand. This motion seemed to silence the apprentice. 

“Of course, my Lord. We don’t know the exact location so you will need to stow away in a supply crate.” Lana said and this caused Jentinn and Theron to frown. They looked at eachother. The two Pubs seemed to agree that it was a bad idea to send a Dark Council member to the slave camp. 

“Shouldn’t I be doing it. After all I am the one we are pretending is a pirate.” Jentinn said with her arms crossed. 

“I am going this is not up for discussion.” Imperius snapped and walked out of the room. Ashara smiled sympathetically and shrugged. She then followed her master.

“This isn’t going to end well.” Jentinn said 

“I have faith in Darth Imperius.” Lana said

“Well, I don’t.” Jentinn said and she hung up the holo. This left the two remaining members of the team in silence. 

“Imperius is going to kill everyone there.” Theron said 

“Do you really think she will?” Lana asked and she returned to her work.

Theron had sliced into duos’ com. She may show mercy when she was watched, but that doesn’t mean he should trust her to do the right thing. They didn’t seem to talk much as most of the sound was just fighting. 

“Were you really a slave once? I just can’t imagine you in one of these cages. I can’t imagine you… helpless.” Ashara asked and Theron froze. Suddenly it made more sense why she took so much interest in the slave camp.

“I rather not talk about it.” Imperius said 

“Of course, Master.” Ashara said and the two sith went back to silence. 

“I see you're stalking a Dark Council member. Isn’t that a death wish?” Jentinn said from behind him. Theron turned around quickly to face the Crime Lord. She was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. 

“Only if you get caught.” Theron said and Jentinn snorted. 

“Find anything?” Jentinn asked

“Nothing.” Theron lied and Jentinn frowned. “There is something about her, but besides that I can’t say anything for certain.”

“I have a feeling that this is going to go real bad real quick and one of the Sith are going to be in on it.” Jentinn said

“I’m not going to let my guard down.” Theron said

“Good, cause I know you are sweet on the Darth.” Jentinn said 

“I have no idea what you are talking about.” Theron said and Jentinn smirked.

“Sure, sure and you totally don’t have a crush on her.” Jentinn said

“Don’t you have anything better to do than bug me?” Theron asked annoyed and her smirk seemed to have grown.

“Nope you are stuck with me.” Jentinn said

Fictober 2020, Day 16

Prompt: 14 - “you better leave now”

Paring: Former Theron/Sith Inquisitor 

Forgiveness was not something that Sith were known for. The slightest failure was cause enough for executions. Betrayal was slap a slave collar on them and make their life horrible. On Odessen betrayal and failure was met with glares. While Imperius was never a normal Sith for once in her life she wished that she could be one. 

Imperius' father always said that every action affects the future of the Force. She wondered what she had done to make this so. Made it so that Theron couldn't trust her. She wanted to forgive him, but she couldn't. Theron's betrayal resonated too strongly in her. Just because it was fake didn't change the hurt she felt.

Imperius briskly walked out of the meeting. She didn't want to deal with anyone right now. 

"Imperius." Theron called and she rolled her eyes. She stopped and turned towards him. The sooner this is over the better. "Can we talk?"

"I have things I need to do." Imperius said

"You have been avoiding me since I returned to Odessen. It'll just take a minute." Theron said and Imperius debated on whether or not to listen. She could just walk away.

"Very well." Imperius said and she hoped her mask hid the annoyance in her voice.

"I know that I screwed up." Theron said and Imperius snorted.

"That is a vast understatement." Imperius said and Theron frowned.

"I am trying here." Theron said 

"Trying to do what?" Imperius asked

"To talk about us." Theron exclaimed in annoyance. 

"What is there to talk about?" Imperius asked

"Don't give me that." Theron said 

"You left. I don't see how there is an us." Imperius said

"You know why I left." Theron said and Imperius glared at him. Not that he could see that through her mask. 

"Do I?" Imperius asked

"I didn't have a choice. I left for the best of the Alliance." Theron said 

"You don't understand do you? There is always a choice. You made yours now I'm making mine." Imperius said

"I'm sorry, but I'm here now." Theron said

"That doesn't change anything." Imperius said

"What do you want from me?" Theron asked and Imperius shook her head.

"I don't want anything." Imperius said

“I’m trying here, which is more than you are doing.” Theron said

“Does that matter. How am I supposed to trust you after this.” Imperius said

“You do realize that it wasn’t real. I wasn’t really betraying the Alliance.” Theron said

“That may be true, but that doesn’t change how it felt, Theron.” Imperius said

"Then where does this leave us?" Theron asked and Imperius looked away from him. She knew that she was going to hurt him. She told herself that she didn't care.

"No where." Imperius said

"Imper..." Theron started, but Imperius cut in. She didn't want to hear it.

"I should go." Imperius said

"Yeah, you better leave now.” Theron answered back coldly. Imperius held back her flinch and walked away. She still loved him, despite everything. She wanted to run back into his arms. She couldn't trust him after this. Could you trust him before, a small part of asked. After all he was a Republic spy. Imperius squashed down that voice as she walked. She clenched her hands into a fist and thought, use this pain to fuel you.

Fictober 2020, Day 7

Prompt: 6 - “that was impressive”

Fandom: SWTOR(Star Wars the Old Republic) 

Rating: G (Sick idiotic Theron) 

Pairing: Theron Shan/Darth Imperius

Theron did not get sick. Sickness was for someone normal, which was the exact opposite of him. 

“Theron, are you OK?” Imperius asked and Theron looked up at her. She was wearing her usual slack and purple dress. She wasn’t wearing her mask or gloves so he could clearly see her bright green skin and tattoos. 

“I’m fine.” Theron said not at all nasally. Imperius raised an eyebrow at that. 

“Really cause you have sneezed thirty times in one minute.” Imperius said

“You are exaggerating.” Theron said, rolling his eyes. This caused his center of gravity to change. He listed to the side, but managed to prevent himself from falling over.

“Really you're sitting on the floor.” Imperius said and Theron began to stand up. Once he got up his legs gave out underneath him. Imperius rushed forward and caught him. 

“You’re stronger than you look.” Theron muttered and Imperius rolled her eyes.

“That was impressive, truly.” Imperius said sarcastically 

“Thank you.” Theron muttered

“Theron you are sick.” Imperius said

“I don’t get sick.” Theron said, trying to break out of her hold. Imperius continued to hold his shoulders. She raised an eyebrow. Then Theron sneezed and Imperius scrunched up her face in disgust. 

“Sorry.” Theron muttered and Imperius gave him a look of concern. 

“Theron, you are sick.” Imperius said

“I don’t get sick.” Theron said and Imperius led him towards their shared bed. Theron tried to go against her, but she was true strong. Clearly she was using the Force to move him. 

“Theron, I’m not going to continue to fight you. You are sick, go lay down.” Imperius said in frustration.

“I’m not sick.” Theron shouted which caused him to go into a coughing fit. Imperius used it to her advantage and pushed him down onto the bed. Imperius kneeled down in front of him. She ran a hand through his hair while he tried to regain his breath.

“Theron,” Imperius said softly “get some rest.” 

“I have work to do.” Theron definitely didn’t whine. It was hard to think clearly with her hand running through his hair. That was the only reason. 

“The galaxy isn’t going to implode without you working for the day.” Imperius said

“You don’t know that.” Theron said

“I do.” Imperius said and she pushed him down so that he was laying on his side. Theron had to admit that it felt good laying down. He needed to work; he had reports to file and annoy Daniella. 

“I’m fine.” Theron muttered and Imperius rolled her eyes. She also shook her head and sat beside him on the bed.

“Theron, if you continue to do this you will work yourself into an early grave. Nothing bad is going to happen if you take a day off.” Imperius said and Theron glared at her. Or tried to, he didn’t know how effective it was.

“We are at war.” Theron said and he tried to sit up. Imperius pushed him back down. She was definitely using the Force that was the only reason she could move him.

“Yes and we will still be at war tomorrow. That isn’t going to change today.”  Imperius said and Theron huffed which caused him to cough. Imperius continued to run her hand through his hair. Theron tried to catch his breath. 

“If I am sick, can’t you just Force heal me or something?” Theron asked and Imperius smirked.

“Are you admitting to being sick?” Imperius asked

“No.” Theron huffed

“Of course. Well if you were sick. I could, but I think that you being sick is the only way to get you to take a break and get some rest.” Imperius said and Theron huffed. Then he sneezed. “Bless you.” 

“I don’t need rest.” Theron said

“Sure, that’s why you're laying in bed.” Imperius said

“I’m laying in bed cause you’re using the Force.” Theron said and he definitely didn’t pout.

“I don’t need the Force to get you in bed.” Imperius said and Theron glared. “Now I am going to get you soup. If you get out of bed I am going to tie you to the bed.” Imperius stood up and grabbed her mask and gloves.

“Fine, but can I at least have my datapad.” Theron said

“Nope, you have the day off.” Imperius said and she put on her mask and gloves. Then she left the room. Theron huffed and glared at the door. He then closed them when everything became blurry again. If anyone asked Theron it took way longer than that to fall asleep.

Fictober 2020, Day 20

Prompt: 5 - “unacceptable, try again”

Paring: former Theron/Sith Inquisitor

Imperius did her best to seem like she wasn't about to storm into the War Room in anger. The only reason she didn't was that this isn't the Sith Empire. Considering the vast majority of the people in there are from the Republic it might poorly reflect on her. Well she didn't care what they thought, but she didn't want them to question her leadership skills. She walked into the War Room and saw Commander Anala, Daniella, Zezaar, Lana, Koth, and Jace Malcom. Imperius already was dreading this meeting.

"You have information on Theron's whereabouts." Imperius said as she took her spot. 

"I thought you were..." Anala began, but Imperius cut her off.

"I am fully capable of doing all my duties." Imperius said

"Theron was indeed on Copero. He had managed to escape with the map. My team has been working on recreating the map. It is a long process, but with the Chiss’ help the traitor might not have as big of a head start.” Lana said

“If he was there then how come he escaped.” Imperius said, trying to keep the accusation out of her voice.

“A Chiss Force user named Valss sacrificed himself to ensure Theron’s escape.” Anala said and Imperius frowned. 

"Was there not more people there that could have stopped him?" Imperius asked

"There was just me and Temple there at the time. Theron was already on a shuttle, by the time we defeated Valss he had already left the planet." Anala said and Imperius felt her anger rising. In the Empire a failure like this was unacceptable, but this isn't the Empire. Imperius nodded but in her head she said unacceptable try again.

"We should talk about our new alliance with the Chiss Ascendancy." Lana said and Imperius zoned it out. Imperius never really worked with the Ascendancy. The closest she had ever been to them was Hoth. Maybe she should have been adding to the meeting but she couldn't. Like so many times these past few months all she could think of was Theron. 

Betrayal was a Sith's endless game. You would think that she was used to it. After all her first week on Korriban she was asked by a lord if she was a traitor. She of course denied it. She was then tasked with killing them, which she did. Imperius often looked back at that moment with guilt. How many of them were like her forced to join the sith and how many of them truly saw the horrors of the Empire. Then there was Zash and Thanaton. Despite all that Theron's betrayal hit her the hardest.

If Imperius was so loyal then why was she here. After all she joined the Alliance to stop Arcann and Vaylin. They are defeated now. When the Alliance was neutral it made sense. Now that the Alliance has sided with the Republic she should have left. Yet she didn't and she knew why. She was no different than those acolytes that she killed on Korriban. That was already seen on Korban. When one of the overseers tasked her to free a Jedi prisoner in order for him to give wrong information to the Republic. The overseer sought her out because of her status as a former slave. She did it, but then did something that if others knew would have caused her execution. In her native tongue she told him that everything he knew was wrong. He thanked and said that it was a shame she was taken by the Sith, that she would have been a great Jedi. 

Imperius had rolled her eyes, but he had a point. She was too kind to be a Sith and she was too emotional to be a Jedi. She had always been in this state of not belonging to any group. She was tired of this constant war of never being able to be herself. Though who she is wasn't something she knew outside of her slave collar. 

Not for the first time Imperius wondered why she returned to the galaxy after faking her death. She could have walked away from the wars and lived on a backwater planet. What she would have done she didn't know. Though she knew exactly why she didn't do any of that.

Imperius was many things, but not a coward. She was a hypocrite, a tyrant, a murderer, a backstabber, a force walker, a historian, and a traitor; a coward was never one of them. Theron was another reason she couldn't have done it. He was a part of the Alliance so she joined and continued to serve. 

"That is all for this meeting." Daniella said breaking Imperius out of her thoughts. She should have been ashamed, but she couldn't be. She nodded and began to head out of the War Room. Anala was not wrong with her being busy. 

"Darth Imperius." Supreme Commander Malcom called and Imperius winced. She was hoping to get out of here without talking to anyone. Imperius faced Malcom.

"Supreme Commander, you know Imperius is fine. I am no longer a member of the Dark Council." Imperius said 

"I would like to talk to you." Malcom said and Imperius nodded.

"About?" Imperius asked

"I was told that you knew him the best." Malcom said 

"Obviously not well enough." Imperius said and Malcom frowned.

"Still, better than most." Malcom said and Imperius nodded. She would rather not talk with Malcom, but she knew that Malcom wanted to be a father to Theron. "Were you two really together after Yavin?" 

"No, we were close but not in that way. It wasn't really until I joined the Alliance." Imperius said

"Do you know why he left the Republic?" Malcom asked and Imperius shrugged. They never really talked about why they left their respective factions.

"He knew that the Republic wasn't able to defeat Zakuul. I imagine that is the reason we all left our respective factions." Imperius said

"Is that why you left the Empire?” Malcom asked and she didn’t.

“I left because the Empire is slowly destroying itself. In the Sith’s percuite of power we create instability and lose more knowledge than we gain. For all the Empire’s claim of power it was so easily brought down by Zakuul.” Imperius said

“You seem to be rather critical of the Empire.” Malcom said and Imperius shrugged. Talking like that would have been a death sentence.

"It is true. You will soon find that not all Imperials are the same." Imperius said

"I'm beginning to see why Theron took an interest in you." Malcom said and Imperius flinched. 

“Till he betrayed the Alliance.” Imperius said and she knew she couldn’t avoid the bitterness in her tone.

“I didn’t mean…” Malcolm started and Imperius nodded. For a minute she bit her lip debating on whether or not to tell him. She bit back a sigh.

“I know, but I have something I need to tell you.” Imperius said

Suprises

Ship: Theron/Light side Sith Inquisitor

Characters: Theron, Ashara, Meva Ebon(Darth Imperius), Satele, and Anala Kalja(Jedi Knight)

Theron was walking through the jungle when he saw Darth Imperius and Ashara were talking. The two women seemed to sense him and they turned around. Imperius was still in her black and purple dress with her silver mask. Ashara was also still in her armor.

“Agent Shan.” Imperius greeted and Ashara bowed slightly.

“Master, I will start looking for Telos and tell him to meet us on the ship.” Ashara said and she left the two of them.

“I didn’t mean to interrupt.” Theron said

“It’s fine we were finishing up.” Imperius said

“I was hoping to talk to you before you leave.” Theron said

“Of course.” Imperius said and Theron stepped towards the Sith. 

“I got my job back in the SIS.” Theron said

“It’s well deserved.” Imperius said, taking Theron back. Theron expected her to make a comment about him joining the Empire. Maybe he was reading to much into their flirting

“You do realize what this means?” Theron asked “We will never exchange another word again.”

“I’m aware, but you have no place in the Empire and I have no place in the Republic.” Imperius said

“I wasn’t expecting that.” Theron said

“I’m just full of surprises.” Imperius said

“Like what you look like.” Theron said absentmindedly. Imperius took a step back and Theron realized what he just said. “Um…” The two of them stood in awkward silence for a moment.

“I should probably go.” Imperius said and she began to turn around to leave. Theron rushed forward and grabbed her wrist. Imperius turned around and they were only a couple of centimeters away from each other. 

“Wait, I didn’t mean anything by that.” Theron said

“I know.” Imperius muttered and she looked down at where his hand was holding her arm. Theron suddenly felt subconscious. He let go of her arm, but didn’t step back. She looked up at him. Theron was suddenly taken over by a sudden braveness. He placed his hands on the sides of her mask. He half expected her to remove his hands, but she didn’t. He slowly lifted the mask. He completely removed the mask and looked at the woman he had been flirting with. Once the mask was removed Imperius looked at the ground.

Theron couldn’t help but be surprised. Imperius was a Mirilian with bright green skin and black geometrical tattoos on her forehead and cheeks. She had black hair that was pulled back in a bun. Theron put a hand under her chin to have her look at him. He was met by bright purple eyes. She looked completely different than how he thought she would and she didn’t show any evidence of dark side corruption. Theron couldn’t help but wonder why she was a Sith. 

Theron leaned forward and kissed her. He was shocked when Imperius kissed him back. Theron dropped her mask and put both his hands in the back of her head. Her lips were soft. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck. Theron forgot that they were on opposing sides on a highly dangerous moon. Then they heard someone clearing their throats. They broke the kiss and Theron turned around. They saw the newly promoted Jedi Battlemaster Anala Kalja. Imperius’ cheeks were now a darker shade of green. Master Kalja crossed her arms. Imperius looked at the ground and fidgeted slightly. 

“I’m going to go meet…” Imperius said and she picked up her mask. She put it on and walked away.

“Grandmaster Satele wants to meet with you.” Battlemaster Kalja said, but Theron could tell that she had more to say. He walked away to meet with the Grandmaster. He met the Grandmaster near a cliff on the Republic side of the camp. She had her back to him. Theron couldn’t help but wonder what she was doing here. It was too dark to see the senere. 

“Theron.” The Grandmaster said and she turned around.

“Grandmaster.” Theron said and he could tell that the Grandmaster flinched slightly at that. Theron didn’t care.

“I have heard that you have grown close to Darth Imperius.” The Grandmaster said and Theron frowned. He crossed his arms.

“It’s none of your businesses, besides I’m not compromising the Republic.” Theron said

“Theron, she is a Sith. She is using you.” The Grandmaster said and Theron felt himself become angry. He took a deep breath.

“We are not talking about this.” Theron said and he walked away from his mother.

Fictober 2020, Day 26

Prompt: 13 - “I missed this”

Fandom: SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic)

Rating: G (past betrayal and language) 

Paring: Theron/Sith Inquisitor

Imperius knew that she was being an asshole to Theron. She just couldn't forgive him or wouldn't. Her father seemed to disagree with her decision. She felt his presence before he was at her door. There was a knock on her door.

"Can we talk?" Her father asked and Imperius looked over at the infant asleep in her crib.

"Of course." Imperius said and her father sat next to her on her bed.

"Have you talked to Theron?" Her father asked and Imperius frowned at him.

"Not much." Imperius said

"You should talk to him." Her father said

"Why?" Imperius asked tired of this conversation. She didn't see how this was something her father had a say on.

"Cause you care about him and he cares about you." Her father said and somehow she doubted him. Did Theron actually care about her or did he just use her?

"He left." Imperius pointed out

"Yet you are the one that has ended the relationship." Her father pointed out

"Is there a point." Imperius said

"I am just saying he has a right to know. At the very least talk to him." Her father said

"You aren't going to let this go are you?" Imperius asked

"You got your stubbornness from someone." Her father said and she bit her lip debating. She knew that if she doesn't her father would bug her. 

"Fine, Dad, I will talk to him." Imperius said

"Good, I'll take care of the little one." Her father said. He stood up and walked towards the crib. Imperius stood up and put on her mask. She walked out of her ship and she began to look for Theron. Before he was either in his room or the War Room and more likely than not it was the War Room. Though now Theron wasn't a member of the Alliance's higher ups. So she went to his room. She knocked on the door.

"Come in." Theron said and she entered the room.

"Can we talk?" Imperius asked and Theron looked at her in disbelief.

"Are you finished being an asshole?" Theron asked and Imperius shrugged.

"I'm a Sith, being an asshole is a part of the job description, but yeah I'm done." Imperius said

"What do you want to talk about?" Theron asked and Imperius closed her eyes. She knew that this would be easier if she didn't look at him.

“I missed this. I missed you." Imperius said

"Then why did you end this?" Theron asked

"Cause you left. You betrayed the Alliance and I had to live with that knowledge for months." Imperius said

"I know but it was not real and I'm here now." Theron said

"My feelings were real." Imperius said and she opened her eyes. "I stayed in this Alliance, I fought for the Republic, for you and you threw it away." She felt on the verge of crying or ranting. 

"I never meant to." Theron started

"No you didn't, but that doesn't change anything. I needed you and you left." Imperius said and Theron put a hand on her shoulder. A part of her welcomed the contact the other part of her wanted to knock his hand away. Tears began to escape her eyes.

"I'm sorry, but I'm here now." Theron said and face showed his concern and love. Again the parts of her fought over this. 

"I wish that would change things." Imperius said

"It can." Theron said and Imperius shook her head. "Every night since I left, I've had the same nightmare. You're walking away - and no matter how fast I run, I can't catch up." 

"Theron..." Imperius started

"I'll spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you. Please can you give your idiot spy boyfriend one more chance?" Theron said and Imperius bit her lip. She wanted so badly to.

"I love you too." Imperius said, making her decision. 

"Thank the stars." Theron said and he removed her mask. Theron dropped the mask and put his hands on her cheeks. He wiped away her tears and he kissed her. He broke away. "I never wanted to hurt you."

"I know. I have something to tell you." Imperius said and Theron looked at her with concern. 

"What is it?" Theron asked

"We have a daughter." Imperius said and Theron shot back. He looked at her in shock.

"A daughter." Theron said and he ran his hands through his. Imperius nodded her head. "When?" 

"I knew when you were on Umbara." Imperius said and Theron nodded he began to pace. 

"A daughter." Theron said "I don't know anything about being a father." 

"You act as if I know how to be a mother." Imperius said

"What am I going to do?" Theron asked

"You can leave." Imperius said, crossing her arms. "I won't blame you if you do." But it will break me, Imperius thought. Theron looked at her and shook his head. 

"I said that I would spend the rest of my life making this up to you." Theron said and he walked over and placed a hand on her cheek. "I want to be here for you and her." 

"Her name is Kica after my father." Imperius said

Fictober 2020, Day 21

Prompt: 9 - “will you look at this?”

Fandom: SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic)

Rating: G (slavery, mentions of death, racism[against alien races], and violence) 

Dromund Kaas was a dreary planet. The storms were dangerous and the air was always thick. Whether or not it was the humidity or its darkness was something that no slave bothered with. They were currently working on a large project to build more buildings on the outskirts of the city. Most of them were private residences for the Sith. This caused them to seem more like a temple. It was just like any other day on Dromund Kaas it was pouring rain, yet Meva couldn’t shake this feeling dread. It clouded her mind and distracted her. Distractions were a dangerous game. Yet she couldn’t help but drift off and hold on to the feeling. Something was going to happen. She knew that much. There was a loud crack and pain shot through her back. This broke Meva out of her thoughts. 

“Focus, slave.” One of the overseers snarled at her. Meva hung her head and ground her teeth against the pain. She would have thought that she would be immune to it now.

“Sorry, Master.” Meva said and he snarled. He shoved her infront of him.

“Start working alien, else you will have a matching burn.” The overseer snarled and Meva put a hand up to the right side of her face. “Take this up to the sky group.” He handed her a bag and Meva bowed her head.

“Yes, Master.” Meva said and she ran towards the building that they were working on. The sky group was tasked with working on the top layer and her father was one of the slaves stationed there. There were no lifts, you had to climb the metal supports and walk across metal poles and columns. The only place that had something akin to a floor was a wooden board that was laid out where they worked to avoid things being dropped and lost. It was highly dangerous, but what was the life of a slave worth.

Meva got to the building and swung the bag onto her back. She began to climb, noticing that the heavy rain made the metal slicker than normal. Meva bit her lip and continued to climb. It took her a couple moments but she reached the top. Her foot nearly slid off one of the poles. She carefully steadied herself and made sure that she was steady. A fall from this height would kill someone instantly. She carefully made her way across the poles and columns. There was a sudden shout and Meva rushed towards the noise. She didn’t even notice the slick metal beneath her feet. 

As Meva approached she realized what had happened. Her father had been working away from the wooden plank. He had gotten up to retrieve some more supplies and had slipped. Now he was falling to his death.

“Father!” Meva screamed unable to keep silent. She kneeled down where he fell and she reached out one of her hands as if to grab him. It was pointless he had already fallen from her reach, but that didn’t stop her instinct. Suddenly before he could hit the ground he stopped. Nothing had snagged him; he just levitated. All the slaves seemed to stop their work to look at the floating man. 

“What is going on here?” One of the overseers yelled and Meva froze. Everyone looked directly at her and her father. She ducked her head and pulled back her hand. The best way to survive was to avoid being the center of attention. She felt tears sting her eyes. She had no idea what was going on. The rain viciously beat against her back and head causing her to shiver. “Come down here girl.” Meva began the climb down unfazed by the rain falling on her face. Her only concern was what was going to happen to her and her father. She finally reached the muddy ground of Dromund Kaas.

“Meva.” Her father said and Meva looked over at him. He had a look of concern on his face from where he sat in the mud. She knew what was going on. This was her death. She turned towards the overseer and walked towards him. The overseer grabbed her arm and dragged her away from the site. She entered a building that she had only seen from the outside. He threw her into an empty room and locked the door. 

Meva was stuck in the empty room for the rest of the day and part of the next. She hugged her legs. When the door opened she immediately stood up. She kept her head down. 

“Are you sure this is the one who used the Force.” A new man that Meva didn’t recognize demanded

“Yes, my Lord.” The overseer said and Meva’s eyes widened. She was dealing with a Sith. This was bad.

“Then show us, slave.” The Sith snarled and Meva looked up at him. She knew that her face displayed her panic and fear.

“My Lord...I…” Meva started in a panic

“The alien has displayed no prior use of the Force and considering her age. It is possible that it was another slave, but considering her emotional attachment.” The overseer said 

“Then perhaps we will make her use it.” The Sith said and he put out an arm. Suddenly, Meva felt something close around her neck and cut off her air way. She put her hands around her neck trying to relieve the pressure, but it did nothing. She also felt her feet leave the ground. She struggled and fought against it. Then black began to encroach on her vision and the pressure disappeared. She collapsed onto the ground coughing and gagging. 

“Perhaps, my Lord, we use the slave that she saved.” The overseer said fear clearly in his voice.

“You better not be wasting my time.” The Sith snarled and the overseer ran out like a slave obeying his master. Meva didn’t bother standing up nor bother speaking. She continued to rub her neck. Not a moment later did the Overseer return with her father. He had a look of pure horror on his face. The Sith looked over at him and a wicked smile appeared on his face. It caused Meva to shiver in fear. He outstretched a hand to her father and lightning hit him. Her father screamed and fell to the floor. His body convulsed as the energy moved through him.

“STOP!” Meva screamed and both the overseer and the Sith were thrown back. Her father laid on the floor limp no longer convulsing with energy. She ran towards him and kneeled next to him. Tears were streaming down her face. She couldn’t contain her fear. The Sith stood up and walked towards her.

“You are stronger than I thought, alien. You have done well to hide yourself.” The Sith said and Meva didn’t dare speak in fear of bringing his wrath upon her father.  “Your emotions bring you great power, but the Sith could teach you more.” Meva froze in horror. She was going to become a Sith, a mindless cruel beast that devours whoever it pleases. She didn’t want that, but it wasn’t a choice, they would kill her and her father if she refused. Her father grabbed her hand and she wanted nothing more than to stay with him. She stood up allowing his hand to fall away from hers. She turned towards the Sith keeping her head down. The overseer removed her collar, but she didn’t dare run. The Sith led her out of the slave camp. The other slaves watched and her cheeks burned in shame. They stared with looks of hatred and fear on their faces. She didn’t know if they were aimed at her, the Sith, or both. 

He led her to a speeder and he took her to the spaceport. Once there he took her to a shuttle. There she saw about 15 other people. They looked to be in their late teens and early twenties and the vast majority of them were Sith Purebloods and some were humans. They stared at her when she entered the shuttle. Meva  found herself shifting uncomfortably at the looks. One of the female Purebloods smirked evilly at her. 

“Will you look at this someone got a slave.” The female pureblood said from where she leaned against the wall of the shuttle.

“No one has gotten a slave. She is to be taken to Korriban to become an acolyte.” The Sith said and others all voiced their outrage. “Enough this is not up to you.”

“You can’t be serious, it won't make it a day in the academy.” The female pureblood said

“Then that is her fate.” The Sith snarled and he left Meva with the group of angry people. The female stood up and walked over to her. She punched her in the stomach. Meva collapsed onto one knee and the pureblood kicked her legs out from underneath her. Meva collapsed onto her stomach and she felt a weight between her shoulder blades that felt like a boot. 

“Will you look at this? It thinks it can join us.” The pureblood said towards the others and she turned her attention back to Meva. “You may have the Force freak, but you will never be one of us.” She spat on Meva’s face. “You will always be filth beneath our shoes. All you people are good for is serving the strong the pure.” With that she removed her foot and walked away. Meva looked up and saw the other people grinning evilly. What are the chances I’ll make it to Korriban alive, Meva wondered.
