I made a promise on Tiktok a while ago that if we got to 7k for the family I'm fundraising for, that I would draw Jessie and James in all the outfits from the Barbie live action movie (Jessie dressed as Ken and James as Barbie because of course). As an added bonus, I'm gonna just draw Meowth dressed as Alan in every single one in the exact same outfit, because I think that would be hilarious. Someone might have said this before but idea as to why Jessie, James, and Meowth are still with Team Rocket despite having been demoted from Top Agents to kitchen staff by the end of the series: Ash is Giovanni's biological kid. They keep attacking him because they are basically overglorified nannies trying to keep the boss's kid in shape just in case Giovanni wants to make Ash his successor as a failsafe. Then comes Unova and they watch as Giovanni almost crushes his own kid to get Meloetta, they come to an agreement where they agree to go back to their nanny gig because they know if anything happens to Ash then the world will be in trouble. After all, their job is to protect the world from devastation, right?

**Spoiler for Episode 95 of Pokemon Journeys**

I’m so glad these idiots didn’t leave.  I know we all thought they would but like.  C’mon.  The show wouldn’t be the same without them. However, I do think the episode kind of revisited the topic that they can’t stay in Team Rocket forever (I think the last time they talked about this was in A Fork in the Road! A Parting of the Ways! which was like 5 years ago lmao) so maybe it’s a sign? Maybe them nearly leaving is a sign that the anime is ending soon, since let’s be real it wouldn’t be the same without the TRio.

I’m happy for Buzz and Cassidy though.  They were able to realize there’s more to life than Team Rocket and now look at them!

I love seeing character development, especially in villains.  Maybe someday the same will happen to the TRio. I certainly hope so.

For now, I’m just glad that they didn’t leave, because I would’ve cried my eyes out.
