Evaluation
My final animation shows a Snow Speeder circling around an AT-AT (both from a franchise called Star Wars) this differs from my original idea, which was to have the AT-AT walking. I had to drastically change my original idea because the rig for the legs of my AT-AT model did not work correctly, the legs would spin around as I tried to make the AT-AT walk. I had to recreate the legs, and I was going to attempt to make it walk again; however I did not make the AT-AT walk. I created the Snow Speeder and then decided to have it fly around the model of the AT-AT. This meant that I had to use the curve tool to create the path for the Snow Speeder then turn it into a motion path for the Speeder to follow.
My final animation was only 10 seconds long, this is quite a lot shorter than I would’ve liked, and only had one camera however, I left myself very little time to get much done.
If I were to do this again I would try to manage my time more efficiently, so that I have longer to do the final animation, most likely increasing the quality of it.

My animation using maya software. Next week I’ll upload it with mental ray.
