Of course, it all makes sense now. This is the obligatory “Nurse a hurt, oftentimes baby, animal back to health and then learn to let it go“ episode.

This is actually one of the few whole episode tropes that are recurring in both western and japanese cartoons.

That is probably either a reference to something or some of that ever popular japanese wordplay. Either way i dont get it.

Are raccoons really pet material? Arent they really aggressive when matured? I dont know for sure, since we dont have them where i live , but i think i read something to that effect once. Could be wrong though.

Okay, episode 20 lets go! I cant believe i am already almost halfway done with this season. But the sooner i can finish it the better! Gotta move on to the newest one as quickly as possible!

To be perfectly honest thats how i always did it. If you do everything last minute then youre guaranteed to remember it the next day. ^^

Id usually be praising Mepple for being such an excellent troll, but hes right.

Man, he just keeps‘em coming today! I always forget how much i enjoy their interactions. Nagisa and Mepple are just perfect for one another.

Oh, neat, we never get a villain follow up after the fight. Lets see how this goes.

Okay, that was it apparently. To be perfectly honest, i really want to start episode 21 now, because i think that either that one or 22 are going to have some massive plot movement with the little boy. And halfway through the series was when the status quo changed last time, so im really curious.

But i was told i should do the first movie near the end of the first half, so i shall do it. I dont really have a lot to say about this episode, it was another pretty standard one that was propped up by interesting villain developments and some great Nagisa-Mepple interaction. So overall, because it got me hyped for the next one, i give this episode 4 ominous little boys walking towards the camera out of 5.
