Mi-an spends the night at Tina's workshop. Just a builder helping her beloved coworker, as usual.
The conclusion of this arc is finally here! Thank you all for following along, it's been a blast (I can hardly believe it's been a whole year of this, time sure flies when you're having fun!)
Ok so I can't find a screenshot anywhere but yk that one line of Mi-an's during the dance-off festival where she's like "I'm so nervous! Maybe a little yakmel milk would take the edge off..."
What if it wasn't just a little
What if she overestimated her alcohol tolerance and got absolutely h a m m e r e d
And what if Fang begrudgingly accepted to get dragged to the dance-off and found Mi-an there barely even standing straight
And she got really excited to see him
She spots him from the exit of the tunnel, lights up like a kid on Christmas winter solstice and starts waving so hard she almost falls over, then she trips over her own feet twice while going to meet him and proceeds to fall into his arms while giggling and hugs his waist tighter than reasonable
She drags him to where she'd gathered with Elsie and Arvio. She tries to sit in his lap but he gets too embarrassed to do that in public, so she settles for clinging to his arm instead
...and then she goes on a rant
"*hic* heey hs anyoen evrr. told you yurr beautuful"
She spends a good 15 minutes listing everything she finds attractive about his appearance (it takes a while because she's slurring. and also because there's a lot of items on her list) then once she's exhausted that, she moves on to everything she loves about his personality (spoiler alert: it's everything)
All in all, she spends a solid half an hour explaining to Fang how much she loves him
In front of the whole town
At first Fang's mortified by the attention but as Mi-an's rant progresses, he gets more and more emotional because wdym she loves every trait he thought made him broken and unlovable
He takes her back to her workshop while she's still rambling, makes her drink a lot of water to prevent a hangover and gets her to bed, but just when he's about to leave, she insists he stay the night
So he does
And when he wakes up in the morning, it's once he looks at her still sleeping by his side he realizes it wasn't a dream
He decides to cook her a breakfast worthy of royalty, but first he needs to go cry about it for a few minutes
When Mi-an finally wakes up, hungover but not as much as she could've been thanks to Fang's care, he's 3/4 of the way through making a four-course meal. While she sits down at the breakfast table, he works up the courage to ask her if she remembers what she said last night and if she really meant it. She answers she doesn't remember it word for word but she's sure she meant every word she said
So Fang sits down opposite from her, takes her hands and goes on his own mini-version of her drunk rant
Y esta vez al verte mi corazón no latió tan fuerte y no hubo lagrimas que se quisieran formar, creo que por fin puedo dejar este amor de lejos y evitar que de nuevo se repita. Espero evitarlo
