Okay so I have one hell of a story when it comes to fish. CW for pet death

Okay so I had three fish, and they eventually bred, so I had a bunch of fish babies swimming in the tank too. We went out and bought sea grass for them, and the grass turned out to be infested with poisonous snails. So they took over the tank, and at the time my parents custody was still 50/50, so it was my mum who found out when she went in to feed them and the tank was all… yeah. Also one of the original three apparently got really big and ate all the babies for survival, then it only went and died too. So I come back from a week at my dad’s house and… I find all this out. I am too scarred to ever get fish again 💀😭

P.s. my mum isn’t the biggest fan of rodents because of their smell and stuff. Half of my motivation to move states is so I can be somewhere where I can have pet ferrets.
