Today I went through Silent Hill and transcribed every single line of dialogue because I love data and figuring out percentages and things. The goal was to see how the dialogue was distributed across the game between the cast. Here are my results:
First checkpoint. After Scene 8:

The scene with the most words is scene 20 where Harry, Cybil, and Dahlia meet one another at the boat, clocking in at 425. This one scene makes up approximately 11.80% of the entire dialogue script.
The character to speak the most in a single scene is Dahlia during the finale, bringing in a total of 232 words in a single scene.
The longest uninterrupted occurrence of a character speaking is from Lisa Garland when she explains Silent Hill and the Gillespie family, with 103 words of straight yapping.
The second occurrence is once again with Dahlia in the finale, who manages to reach 102 words.
