January has been a busy month for Signed, Venus! We are now about halfway through the recording process, and we'd like to take a moment to thank our talented and enthusiastic cast for bringing so much heart and soul to this project 💌💕
Rin's Hayden is, pardon us for being inarticulate, so utterly Hayden! The energy, the confidence, the passion: Rin's voice and performance is unbelievably charming and impossible not to fall in love with. And we know you will.
We could not be luckier to have Michael McKitt as Kameron. His performance is hilarious and we laugh a lot during recording sessions, but it's also sweet in all the right places. We finished recording Michael's lines this weekend, and we're already excited to work with him again! 🎉
Getting to work with @amateurziarko was a dream come true for us in a lot of ways as long-time fans of her work. Emma is perfect as the hotheaded Captain Valeria, with a take-charge attitude that won't let you forget who runs this place. We're so excited for you all to hear it!
We'll be working with more of our cast this week and in February, and trust us, there is so much to love about what they're bringing to these characters too!
We also want to thank you for supporting Signed, Venus 🚐 It means so much to us, and we can't wait to share the amazing work our cast has been doing with all of you 💖
We are beyond ecstatic to announce that Signed, Venus has found our Kameron! And we could not think of anyone better than Michael McKitt! Not to embarrass ourselves where he's going to see it, but Michael's audition was so perfect we were nearly in tears.
Hailing from Montgomery, Alabama, Michael is a creative and a strategist with big dreams and eyes set on the world. He describes himself as driven by hip-hop, weirdness, and good noms - a fantastic combo if we've ever heard of one.
We are so thankful for Michael's enthusiasm about playing Kameron - we just know that working together with him is going to be amazing, and we're so happy that our protagonist is in good hands.

SIGNED, VENUS - CAST UPDATE
Hi everyone. We have a bit of news to share with you today: Michael McKitt is retiring from his role as KAMERON.
Working with Michael has been a delight. He's a fantastic, funny, and really talented actor. Behind the scenes, Michael has always been supportive, enthusiastic, and the kind of person who goes the extra mile. We are so glad to have had the opportunity to work with him for Part I - as you all know, he's been amazing in the role of Kameron.
The good news is that Michael is still doing really cool things as a creator outside the world of audio drama! You can follow his work as a musician by listening to his EP, The Video Games Demo, and the singles he released in 2020 (Spotify). You can also follow him at @thacribbo on Twitter and Instagram.
We're all going to miss Michael and we know you will too - definitely support his other work if you've been a fan of him on Signed, Venus!
