I don’t know if any of you read Richard Dawkins book, he has some very interesting moral judgments to make about God, firstly the God of the Bible, who he describes in the most incredible terms - sycophantic, homophobic, genocidal and so on. It’s amazing how at one hand he’s prepared to deny that there is any such thing as moral, morality, good and evil by denouncing the same time that God is actually evil which raises the question where he gets the category of evil from if there is no good an evil. He also wrote some very interesting things to say about president George Bush, who in Richard Dawkins eyes is almost as evil as God himself. And I don’t want to make any comment about President George Bush or indeed President Obama apart from to repeat what I said last night, which is whenever you want to end your rebellion and rejoin the British Empire we are happy to welcome you.” 👌
