ooooof. you wildly overestimate how much i know/listen to french music but i will try to give you some francophone music recs (or else the list will literally just be woodkid).

En la segunda mitad de los años 60 en Italia, más allá de la tendencia Beat y de las versiones de cantatas italianas de marcas famosas de artistas predominantemente ingleses, Polnareff era como Jolly Records, que “importaba” algunos artistas franceses, sobre todo aquellos que les dieron un éxito de público y popularidad aún mayor en su tierra natal. Michel Polnareff, nacido en 1944 en Nérac, Francia, fue un precursor. En pleno apogeo de “Salut les copains” él, no cabe duda que iba por otro lado. Este interesante disco recoge un buen puñado de versiones en italiano de algunos de sus temas más conocidos incluyendo “Love Me Please Love Me” (1966) canción que considero la mejor del pop francés y que me entero recién que tenía una versión en italiano. El disco está entero para escucharlo en Bandcamp. Un lujo!. Disfruten!.
