Little Bio
There’s not much on this page, I’m jealous, and through the dark night of the artist...
But now I like to talk a bit of me, apart from the works that something will say... No!
The photos that I consider most important, and that have been most successful in various exhibitions and performances, are reflections on space time that came to me during the study of cinematogrphy technique.
I think many photographers don’t like those photos... I can understand them, I was looking for something that was closer to painting, and I feel very close to abstract expressionism.
But like all photographers I like to photograph everything, especially people, but I am very embarrassed to do it =D
My relationship with painting is conflicted, the search is more interior than exterior... there isn’t also space where I can create freely and keep all the paintings.
I found it very useful to paint, to be able to create in a more tangible way than photography. As a more personal interior work. The photograph was used to see how I relate to others ... Painting was like healing my wounds.
Movie production is also a chapter of my creativity, we (la trupe) made short films, video clips and even a film ... they invested me with the title of director of photography ...
It is difficult to work with others for others and to be at the service of the director and the story. I hope I have always been wrong.
There is also my work in art workshops, where I brought people to know the art and themselves, where I tried to put them in touch with their creativity (the one I seem to have missed... in fact, it’s actually the thing where I can put creativity )
Other things? I am Italian, from the deep south of the peninsula. I have lived in Rome for many years.
