Mistletoe, Marshmallows, and One Very Kissed Wolf
Christmas at Oswald and Felix’s house was always loud, warm, and just a little chaotic—but this year felt extra special.
The house glowed with soft golden lights, garlands draped over doorframes, and ornaments carefully placed by kids who absolutely did not agree on color coordination. The big tree stood proudly in the living room, sparkling with handmade decorations, tiny bells, and a crooked star on top that Felix insisted was perfectly aligned.
Their children were away for the night, spending Christmas with Ortensia’s parents—Oswald’s former in-laws—who had happily taken not only their grandchildren but also the four newborn kittens. The house felt quieter without them… which meant the adults were allowed to be ridiculous.
Boris stood near the tree, carefully adjusting the camera on a tripod. “Okay—no one move—this thing hates me,” he muttered, avoiding stepping on tinsel.
Behind him, Oswald and Felix were acting like an old married couple who had forgotten how personal space worked.
Oswald had clearly planned ahead—mistletoe hung everywhere. Doorways. Lamps. Shelves. Even suspiciously above Felix’s favorite chair.
Felix barely finished a sentence before Oswald tugged him in by the collar. “Oh look,” Oswald hummed sweetly, pointing upward, “what a coincidence.”
Felix sighed fondly. “You put that there.”
“And I’ll do it again.”
Oswald even had a tiny mistletoe pinned to the festive hat he was wearing, giving him a portable excuse to kiss his husband whenever Felix dared to look at him. Felix pretended to protest, but his tail gave him away as he leaned into every kiss.
On the couch, Cuphead and Bendy were deep in their own chaos.
Bendy poked Cuphead’s side. Cuphead giggled.
Bendy poked his ribs. Cuphead squeaked.
Bendy poked behind his knee. Cuphead yelped and nearly fell off the couch.
“Stop—!” Cuphead laughed, swatting at him, only for Cuphead to calmly stick marshmallows onto Bendy’s horns like decorations.
“Festive,” Cuphead said proudly.
Bendy snorted. “You’re impossible.”
On the floor nearby, Mickey sat cross-legged with a plate of Christmas cookies, happily munching away as Minnie carefully decorated his hair with tiny red and green bows.
“Hold still,” Minnie said.
“I am holding still!” Mickey replied through a mouthful of cookie crumbs.
“You moved.”
“I blinked!”
Mugman and Cala Maria sat on the floor against the couch, backs touching, sharing headphones. Their eyes were closed, fingers loosely intertwined as soft music played—peaceful, quiet, and completely unbothered by the chaos around them.
Boris smiled at the sight of everyone, warmth blooming in his chest. “Okay! Picture time!”
Everyone scrambled toward the tree.
Click. The first photo—everyone smiling, arms around each other.
Click. The second—everyone kissing their partner.
Boris stayed in the middle, tongue out, eyes rolling dramatically.
Click. Laughter erupted.
Click. The fourth photo—everyone leaned in and kissed Boris on the cheek, forehead, ears, snout.
“HEY—HEY—STOP—!” Boris protested, laughing helplessly.
Click. The fifth photo caught Boris trying to escape, wiping his face in mock horror as everyone cracked up.
The night continued with pure holiday chaos.
Secret Santa gifts were handed out—wrapped in confusing paper, labeled with descriptions like “For the one who screams but means well” or “Smells like ink and poor decisions.” Somehow, everyone still figured it out… mostly.
Karaoke followed, and Mickey absolutely dominated. Broadway-level vocals, dramatic poses, and way too much passion for a holiday playlist.
Then came the snowball fight—until Bendy stepped outside, immediately froze, and declared, “I regret everything.”
Oswald instantly wrapped a scarf around him and dragged him back inside. “Nope. Demon popsicle not happening.”
They stayed indoors, sipping hot chocolate, Bendy bundled in blankets while Oswald put on Christmas movies. Felix joined them later, stealing sips of Oswald’s drink and kissing his cheek whenever the mistletoe mysteriously reappeared.
By the end of the night, the house was full of laughter, crumbs, tangled lights, and love in every corner.
And Boris, reviewing the photos later, decided that yes—
This was the best Christmas yet. 🎄✨
A simple "meet my kid" would have sufficed, Mick-
Happy birthday, Mickey and Minnie!
Mickey and Minnie Week Day 3: Musketeer
Now it’s Minnie’s turn to carry Mickey! 🤭 I’ve always wanted to draw a little switch-around with Minnie carrying Mickey in her arms and he’s all surprised but she’s actually pretty strong, and Mickey might start feeling some more butterflies in his tummy from the surprising yet welcome gesture~ he’s protected his beloved princess all this time and Minnie wanted to return the favour in her own cheeky way! 😄🩷
This was so much fun to make and the roses I found were a fitting touch given their prominence in the movie! 🌹My bestie helped me with this idea of adding them to the background, which I’m really thankful for! It reminds me of beautiful cards~
