Synopsis: What I think the dorms of characters would look like
Genre: Just general headcanons
W.K.: ~1.25k in all
C.W.: none
Characters ft: Bakugou, Tsuyu, & Shinsou
(~450 words)
This could go in so many different directions
My first thought is that if PlanetFitness™ was condensed it would be this man’s room
But honestly I see him more as a person to workout outside and do more active things whilst being productive
It’s canon that he likes hiking, so I feel like a lot of the equipment in his room would be based off of that
If anything, he probably has a few weights (like dumbbells) that are lying around
Has most definitely kicked one on accident at night walking around his room
I feel like it’s relatively plain but over time becomes more clustered
The Bakusquad will start randomly leaving or putting things in Bakugou’s room
It can be anything from Denki leaving little dollar store trinkets on Bakugou’s desk; to Kiri making random things out of garbage in class and putting it on Bakugou’s shelf
He doesn’t strike me as someone to have a lot of pictures or memorabilia, but there’s little pictures on the wall by his bed with sticky tack photos of his friends throughout the years
He’s an All Might fanboy at heart, but I doubt he has as much physical display of this as Midoriya
I headcanon that there’s posters and like some rare collectibles of action figures and merch
Inko made him a throw blanket as a kid for his birthday of All Might and he still has it at the end of his bed
Despite it being relatively clustered with small things in some places (again, courtesy of the Bakusquad), it’s still pretty clean and spacious
His curtains are usually closed, so the only possibility for plants that he could sustain are either fake or don’t survive for long
Since his parents are both fashion designers, his closet is full of clothing that he’ll probably never wear from name brands all over
His desk serves as a multiple purpose space: homework, charging station, and bookshelf
Bakugou’s bed is always made and—as much as I hate to say it—he probably only sleeps with two pillows—three on occasion
He has a speaker that he uses whenever he’s not doing homework, but it’s probably super loud (headcanoning that he’s partly deaf from his quirk)
His closet alone could be an entirely different post
Overall, Bakugou’s room is kind of dark and a tad bit more grunge themed
Kirishima leaves Bakugou lots of little notes saying things like are either:
“Hey Bakubro, can you help with math please? :D” to
“Remember to hydrate and take a break” with a little thumbs up doodle
Lots of self notes too reminding him of what he has to do and his schedule for the day

Tsu canonically has all of the attributes—strengths and weaknesses—that a frog does
For this reason, I think that she has humidifiers and just temperature regulations throughout her room
Lots of plants and art prints, mainly from friends
Little lily pad shaped fairy lights strung across her room
I picture her room as having a lot of plants like ivy and vines, but also a lot of really exotic plants
Lots of pillows and blankets
Like at least five pillows and her bed is most definitely up against the wall
The blankets range from those really thin 50x50” ones to comforters to really fluffy and warm blankets
Hear me out—stuffed animals
I think that her friends go out with her to like, the mall, and end up coming back with a lot of stuffed animals
Throw pillows and rugs are main staples of Tsu’s room
Super comforting place and relaxing, but it can become kind of humid
Frequent naps at Tsu’s dorm bedroom have become so common that she has little bean bag seats that people sleep on
Color palette of greens and pinks
Think of a pastel version of kid core, with the mixed color fabrics
Her closet is also an entirely different post, but I’m picturing bucket hats and pastel overalls with different colors and patch sizes
You know those framed glass cases of bugs? Yes, those but a lot of them
Like they’re hanging up by pictures of her friends
Butterflies, iridescent winged beetles, etc.
Like the wood around them is an orangish color and honestly I might just draw this up later
I cannot stress this enough, but pictures of her friends both in and out of school as well as pictures of her family and herself growing up
Post cards from all over pinned up on her walls and cork boards
Generic, I know, but frog themed little details that are mainly jokes
Music isn’t as loud or used as Bakugou, but when she does play music, it’s most likely a shared playlist that everyone created
(~490 words)
Straight up, grunge. kid. bedroom.
Gotta put aside my biases for him for the rest of this
Either looks like a vacant room or the pure embodiment of a teenage boy’s room
I’m going with the latter for the rest of this
Clothes and trash are just all over the floor, save for a few spaces
His bed has been made once, maybe twice
But it is the most comfortable shit you would ever sleep in
I speak from experience of my own bed
Posters line the wall so much to the point where there’s very little actual wall space
These range from prints he likes, bands, movies, heroes he admires Aizawa, to joke posters like, “Live, Laugh, Love <3” and, “~Home is where the heart grows fonder~”
The LED lights desperately need a battery change because it’s more of a dim light, but that’s for another time to change
Jackets and hoodies over his chairs
Has a little gaming station beside his desk
I choose to believe his gaming chair and setup itself is the biggest thing that he has splurged on
The side of his monitor and the top of his desk are covered in stickers he’s collected over the years
Tapestry over his bed
Vintage cassette and record albums
As cluttered as everything is, it’s still somewhat spacious because the clutter is grouped together to provide a walkway
Much like myself, his closet is somewhat bare because all of his clothing he wears is from piles of clean and dirty clothing on the floor
Signature purple and black bedding and overall theme
There’s always music, like no matter what, but the difference between Shinsou and Bakugou is that Shinsou’s music is usually quiet
Wide variety of music, but at night it’s his an entirely different playlist of Lofi
He may not sleep at night 9/10, but at least it isn’t as chaotic and exhausting
Collection of bottle caps and tabs by his bed
Water bottles are everywhere, but at least the majority of them are refilled
At this point I’m just naming off how my room is rn
Half of his chargers are broken or living on 1%
Hair ties that are clinging onto life have their own little dish on his desk
Usually the curtains and blinds are closed
On the back of his door there’s a coat rack that’s used exclusively for his bag and also the capture weapon
Weights and overall workout equipment are frequently used but also so easily lost
The Grind Never Stops
I think the only pictures he would have would be of like sneaked pictures of him and Aizawa training
Aizawa’s in the back doing whatever pose and Shinsou’s either hold up a blurry peace sign to the camera or painfully imitating it
They’re a little frayed at the edges most of the time, but it just makes them more sentimental and fit in with the aesthetic
A/N: this is the first chapter for a request by @kiyomi15240, wherein bitty fem!Naruto has her dearest wish for a family granted - but spending the entirety of her short life lonely and neglected has left its mark, and coming to accept her family isn’t quite as easy as meeting them.
It shouldn’t be. The caretakers have sharp eyes and sharper memories -- if anyone is gone for too long, they start looking for them and come back with children balanced on hips or with hands held tightly in theirs, scolding with firm but gentle voices.
But in this, like everything else, Nanami is different.
The caretakers don’t like to look for her. They tell her as much when they manage to find her, their hands like claws around her arm as they drag her back to wherever she’s supposed to be in the compound. Nanami doesn’t think they’re supposed to grip so hard, leaving little red indents and blotchy marks on her skin -- the caretakers always fuss when they hear Lord Third is coming to see them, even though they made the marks themselves.
But the marks are always gone before the old geezer comes to see Nanami, and when he asks if she’s eating all right and getting along with people, the matron behind him clasping her hands so hard her knuckles are white while he talks, Nanami knows better than to say she’s hungry all the time and the other kids push her and laugh while the caretakers just watch.
The caretakers aren’t so sparing when they talk to the geezer. Sometimes, when he’s done listening to them, the old man scolds Nanami about running away and not being nice to people who’re mean to her first, and she has to guess just what they told him. Other times, when Nanami is supposed to leave the matron’s office and the caretaker doesn’t take her to the dorms, she stays and presses her ear against the door so she’ll know for sure.
That girl has a fox’s heart, Nanami has heard them tell the geezer. She plays horrible tricks and lies about it, she hits and bites the other children -- Lord Third, you should see the teeth on her!
Nanami doesn’t know exactly what it means to have a fox’s heart. Sometimes the caretakers tell stories about magic foxes that play mean tricks on people and always get their comeuppance, but Nanami’s almost always in time-out for story hour, so she never hears them.
(Having overheard one lady tell another that Nanami shouldn’t hear stories and get ideas, Nanami suspects this is intentional.)
But Nanami can guess. The other kids make fun of her after every story, because they’ve heard the caretakers call Nanami fox-heart and that fox-faced brat, and they’re happy to explain just how bad the association with foxes is after a monster fox attacked the village.
Nanami’s tricks aren’t even bad -- people can wash food coloring out and dry their clothes after she drops water balloons on them. Some of the older kids play the really horrible tricks, like tying girls’ hair to their bed rails or putting ants in the boys’ underwear drawer, and then they have the meanness to say Nanami did it, knowing the caretakers won’t bother to check before they yell at her.
Nanami will admit she bites. Her teeth are sharper than anyone’s, even the boys’, and everyone knows that if they don’t hold her just right, she’s perfectly capable of biting hard enough to draw blood.
Not a lot of kids have hit her since she started biting. It’s easier for them to laugh at her or make quick tugs of her hair than it is to gang up and hold her down, and even if it makes the caretakers scowl and complain to the geezer about how wild she is, it’s still worth it.
The way the old man looks at her sometimes, Nanami thinks he knows what happens even though she never says. But he still leaves her here.
That, more than anything, is why Nanami sneaks out so much.
At first, Nanami hid in dark lockers and cramped closets and high up in the trees where the other kids couldn’t climb, because they didn’t have her nails and they were all too heavy for those branches, anyway. It was easier to hide than listen to the caretakers mutter, gods, we’ll be stuck with her forever, or if only she had the decency to look like one of ours, it wouldn’t be so bad. It was better, before she learned to bite, than being laughed at for being a foreign charity-case lifer, like the oldest kids at the orphanage, the ones who never got adopted and sometimes grew up to be caretakers themselves.
But people figured out all her best hiding spots all over the orphanage, and once they did, Nanami had to find new places outside the compound. That was when she realized sneaking out is loads better than hiding, even if it is a little scary how fast people can find her if she’s not careful, because she really is the only person she’s seen with red hair ever in the village.
Sneaking out means she can explore the markets and, when she’s tired of walking, tuck herself away in trees by playgrounds and watch the kids and their families, safely hidden by the leaves.
Sometimes the grown-ups are grumpy, and sometimes they scold the kids -- but mostly, the grown-ups smile and laugh, and even push their kids into high arcs on the swings and help others build castles in the sand. They give hugs, pat small shoulders, even pick their kids up and twirl them, the kids shrieking with laughter all the while --
That’s even better than the people with headbands, who make funny shapes with their fingers to help wet sand or shore up leaning castles with small rocks. Nanami is going to be a ninja like them one day, so even if it’s cool, it’s something she can do on her own. But she can’t hug herself like grown-ups can. She can’t carry herself in her own arms, chattering about a day she already knows about.
Maybe, if her Mama and Daddy were still alive, she’d have someone to hold her hand and smile and ask about her day, too.
One of her parents must have had her red hair and purple eyes. Maybe they both did, and maybe they both weren’t from the village -- maybe she wasn’t even born here.
Maybe the village didn’t like them, just like the caretakers don’t like Nanami.
But maybe they would have liked Nanami. Maybe they would have bought her sweets in the market, like she’s seen other parents do. Maybe they would have bought her stuffed animals and soft kunai. Maybe they would’ve even tweaked her nose, wrapping their scoldings about dinner and her toys at home in kind laughter.
Nanami has nothing from her parents but the name Uzumaki and a handful of daydreams borrowed from real families. But it’s all she has, and she hoards every precious scrap, tucking it all beside the hope that one day, one impossibly bright day, it’ll be real.
Synopsis: What if Hawks copied things people said or did?
Genre: Crack
W.K.: ~260
C.W.: Swearing
A/N: I have no clue what exact species Hawks is, but I thought it would be cool if he mimicked people and what they say/do
Okay, so you know how people say, “Pretty bird,” and sometimes the bird repeats it back?
Yeah well that’s pretty much what the entirety of this headcanon is based off of
I imagine it would be so entertaining to see Kiego with a s/o who stims or tics
I know one of mine is mouth popping and aggressively papping my head
So imagine that but repeatedly
Especially because it could really easily trigger a train reaction of back and forth copying
It could either be really wholesome, like, “I love you,” or “Pretty boy, Kiego”
But could also be absolute hell
“Why the hell would you hit your head?!”
“I don’t know, you did it too?!”
I can see him randomly quoting a bit from a show or movie over and over, not really registering it until his s/o repeats it back or says it in time when he does
On one hand, I really want to imagine it being all sweet, but on the other I can’t help but think it would go more along the lines of:
“Pretty boy, Kiego (:”
“Pretty bo—fuck you,” with a pouty Kiego for the next three minutes
I’d imagine there’s ruts where he mimics or repeats something he really wishes he didn’t, but it usually ends with either one or both of you laughing
Overall, I imagine it being either super funny or wholesome
I think that from a young age Bakugou never really had huge parties
Both of his parents are fashion designers, so they wouldn’t have a lot of time for a big celebration
He never really minded having small parties with half assed streamers and a rushed cake
It just meant that he had more time to go outside and do whatever he wanted to
At the end of the day, he would get his presents; hang out with a couple of friends; and just be a kid who turned another year older
Inko would always show up later on, regardless of if there was a party or not, just to wish him happy birthday and give him a gift
When he developed his quirk, he would practice lighting the candles and now it’s just a tradition he has
Has almost caught the table of fire when he grew older, but nobody got hurt so it’s all good!
Mans would be lowkey blushing the entire time people sang happy birthday to him, but wouldn’t say a word because he knows everyone will just continue to sing anyways
He looks more mildly annoyed than anything, and he probably is
Once they move into the dorms, class 1-A starts to host tiny parties for everyone
Bakugou hoped that if he didn’t say anything then nobody would know
Izuku didn’t let this happen and instead took it as his mission to organize a party that wouldn’t overwhelm Bakugou, but large enough that everyone got to enjoy themselves
He’s a little shit when he opens up gifts tho
Mitsuki taught him not to brag, so it’s more of silent gloating and what he got
Ends with him surprisingly in a good mood, minus the occasional joke from Denki about how
“Bakigou’s such as old ass now, gonna need a cane by next week”
Romantic
(~240 words)
I think that the only way you’re going to find out it’s his birthday is either through overhearing it or Izuku would tell you
He doesn’t really want anything for his birthday
Please get him something though, it’s a special occasion and he deserves it
You have to remind him that he can’t spend the entire day training and avoiding everybody
At first he’ll just grumble and complain about how he,
“Doesn’t wanna go see the other extras when the only one that really matters right now is here with him”
Despite having fashion designers as parents, he would dress like shit on his birthday—baggy jeans and the notorious skull shirt
Bake a cake with him; he can cook but Bakugou cannot bake for shit
He’s not a huge sweets fan, so I think that something more like just cookies would be better
Who knows though because if the entire class caught whim of it, then there would be frosting everywhere and someone forgot to turn off the oven
After food he tries to get you to slip out with him unnoticed and head back to his dorm for the rest of his birthday
It’ll probably just be chilling out and listening to music until curfew, but it’s time you get together to unwind from a decently busy day
All in all, it’s a good day, a little busy and chaotic, but good
