For the 1970 Turin Motor Show, Carrozzeria Savio presented a Jeep-type conversion based on the Autobianchi A112 supermini. The A112 Torpedo concept retained the original car’s front-wheel-drive configuration, so it would not have been especially useful “off-road.” Savio’s proposal was meant as a Spiaggina or beach car, complete with a fold-down windscreen, in any case, it remained a one-off.
