patty getting to enjoy whatever she might have missed out on in fighting connie's foreverchild bullshit. it's not her mom forcing her to stay in the Kid Zone of the fair because she's still a kid, it's Fun Stuff Enjoyed By a Fuckin' Whimsical Punk Grownup. spinning the teacup ride too hard, blowing fifty bucks on a game stall to win a fifty cent stuffie, making an obnoxious dessert concoction at some novelty food truck, falling asleep on the drive home.

simon hasn't had this much fun since he and danny went to the fair, well over 10 years ago. forgot it's okay to enjoy yourself on occasion. he can keep the fire stoked, doesn't have to dull his bite or his beliefs. but if patty wants to line up for free face paint, he can get a bowie-style lightning bolt to match the glittery star drawn around her eye. when he notices there's not a big line for the drop tower, he asks patty if she's afraid of heights, holds her hand and screams for fun instead of to be heard.

friend I had a dream last night that some anon tried to claim that the way you shipped doctorrose meant that what you ACTUALLY shipped was tardisrose. (convoluted dream reasons. you know. in context the claim was understandable somehow, but bullshit.) they evidently considered this Inferior and were judging you harshly for Shipping Wrong. and this was such an infuriating misunderstanding of what I saw to be your very clear values, ideas, and beautifully nuanced interpretations of the show that I had to dust off my own decade-old Doctor Who Opinions to reblog and write up my defense for you. you had basically just told the anon they were ridiculous and wrong, but I was blind with rage at their bad faith, surface-level, asinine reading of your fics and meta. I had to lay out plainly for them the deep and carefully-considered themes in your work, and an analysis of what made your stories so strong and meaningful and compelling. my defense kept getting longer than planned, and writing it was getting in the way of other shit I was supposed to be doing. I kept having to save the draft and try to return to my responsibilities, only to stew on it so hard I’d go back to writing, as if turning back to an argument like ‘AND ANOTHER THING—!’

anyway. I guess I thought you should know that my subconscious has decided I’m ride or die for you, even in fandoms I haven’t been part of for many years. 🫡

So similar to my Kyoru answer, I think that David would kinda just be like “you can wear whatever you want, you’re beautiful, Gwen :)” and maaaaaybe if Gwen pestered him enough he might bashfully say “w-well I like your fancy dress.”

Gwen on the other hand, I think would end up being David’s personal stylist. She’ll eventually get sick of him wearing his camp uniform even off-duty, brings it up with him and he only wears plaid flannels or something. Eventually she’d break and just go “Alright, we’re going shopping.” And honestly? She’d prolly go really really simple. V-neck solid color shirt, skinny jeans, jacket. Maybe different shoes too? The boots can probably still go with it. 

14. Who would make a playlist for the other person? What would be featured on the playlist?

OH I think both of them but I think that Gwen would just kinda throw whatever she wants on it, lots of current pop and 90s pop nostalgia music. David likes it tho, I really think the range of music he actively listens to is very small but he likes anything.

David, on the other hand, I think his playlist to Gwen is probably only 30% music and 70% rain sounds or city sounds, just ambient sleep noises. The music he does put on there is mostly indie alternative, folk rock and gentle acoustic guitar riffs, very campfire sort of music.

A fanart for an amazing fanfiction “Run Away Home” by MicrosuedeMouse (for 9th chapter). I was fascinated by this story. Reading it really brings a looot of warm feelings and that’s great *__* Only one minus - this masterpiece isn’t finished. However, I’m really happy this fanfiction exists!!! This story made me understand one more time how much I love my family and that we should spend more time with ech other.

Also “CampCamp” in overall was my first adult show (I really had bad thoughts about them before these series) and I can say that it not only changed my mind on adult cartoons but also on some aspects of my worldview. And I think, that it is the thing that all adults shows should do! I had a rollercoaster of emotions while I was watching the show!
