I got it into my head that, what with her dress’ pagoda sleeves and wide skirt, Lulu already had a mid-Victorian thing going on. So I decided to draw a fussy 1860s Lulu in a fussy 1860s setting, complete with distressed paper.
Memento mori - An early Victorian coral and hair cameo bracelet, circa 1850, the cameo depicting a man in profile, within a woven hair and carved coral bead surround, to the woven hair two-row bracelet, suspending a carved coral bead double swag and tassels. Inner diameter approximately 6cms. With makers case signed by A. Ferrer.
