thing that always makes me giggle relistening to midnight burger— caspar sucks at gambling and owes ava gobs of money from dice in the walk-in, and his mom maggie retired into professional gambling. i like to imagine he’s hoping the skill rubbed off on him at some point and is just waiting for it to kick in
