I would live for you. I would watch the sheep in the field and cultivate the wheat for you. I would travel to the river and gather water for you. I would mend our home after a storm for you. May these simple acts show my devotion… A life with you is all I crave.

Sirius is a runaway Prince and heir to the throne and Remus, who spent his whole life on his secluded family farm, has no idea who he is, thinking perhaps he's a wealthy lord from some far off town, traveling the country in search of romance.

While the whole kingdom searches for the missing Prince Sirius, he is hidden away in the grassy meadows of the Lupin farm, safe, unless the Lupins, who are desperate for some reward money, discover his secret.

This is the cover of a small 20-page children's book I illustrated earlier this year. After drawing over a sketch I do not always save it, so this project was also an unusually clear look at my process. It's not much different from most artists, but it feels very satisfactory to look back at
