The 36 decans or faces from the Brihat Jataka.
The Decans of Sagittarius ♐️
Similar to the Decans or faces from Agrippa and Picatrix ~ the Vedic Astrology book, The Brihat Jataka, illustrates 3 decans of 10 degrees each in the signs of the Zodiac. Note that they are ruled by triplicity lords rather then the Chaldean order.
Whereas the Face images from the Picatrix illustrate talismanic magic; these decans are closer to Tarot and divination. What I have found successful is utilizing them as an additional factor of significations in Horary/ Divination questions and also for reading the Birth Chart.
The dates noted correspond to the time of year the Sun travels through that decan and segment of the zodiac in a tropical chart.
