I want to throw these AUs out there because they're both fun concepts and I don't know how much I'll create for them myself (I have a partial comic for the 2nd one), but I'd love to see input if there's interest!
Midnight AU. Shinichi transforms every day at midnight (time zone changes included). So one day as Conan, one day as Shinichi, etc. This would create funny situations involving overnight cases.
By Name AU. Shinichi/Conan transform every time he hears the name (regardless of honorifics). Ran asks where Conan-kun is? Shinichi's suddenly unwell and runs off. Haibara, Agasa, or Heiji call him Kudo-kun? WOOPS! Kogoro calls him "brat"? That thankfully doesn't work. Someone passing by randomly mentions a different person named "Shinichi?" Ack!
About Omori Midnight Cast (Headspace, Perfect Melody):
Mari (Dream):
After recently entering this strange world, dubbed "Perfect Melody", Mari at first is very curious to her surroundings. She thinks logically and is grounded at times, however it is shown that sometimes she will let her emotions get the best of her, especially when it comes to her little brother SUNNY. She is very close to her friends and is always on watch over them to ensure that everyone is okay. She doesn't enjoy fighting but is willing to resort to violence if absolutely necessary.
Aubrey (Dream):
Rebellious and Emotional. She is charged by her deep rooted sense of emotional mortality and justice. She lets her anger get the best of her and is very loyal towards her friends, but since she wears her heart on her sleeve, words can have a huge impact on her mood and energy. But she will still pack a punch with her bat!
Kel (Dream):
Kel is naturally competitive by nature, especially when it's towards Aubrey. Frequently, they both will get into bickering and scuffles. regardless of this nature, he still has a deep care for his friends and wishes for the best for them all. He's willing to give all to his friends so it means that they are happy. Although he tries to always be positive and happy about the situation, he can at times stoop down to pessimism though during these times he manages to always get himself back up.
Hero (Dream):
Hero is known as the mentor of the group. he is one of the closest tamari and loves to treat everybody with fairness and respect. Although he sometimes strive to a perfectionism, he usually likes to keep it on the low rather than showing it out to everyone else. He's very mature and he is very grounded in his reality, He's also very good at helping others with deep emotional pain. He loves pleasing others, even if it means they won't help him
Basil (Dream):
Basil is the pacifist of the group. He loves gardening with his plants and he loves teaching others about any types of weeds and plants. He does not like entering into any fights and he loves to keep everything at peace. You can also know him as the peacemaker of the group. He's usually the one who goes in the middle of conflicts and tries to resolve them through peaceful manners. But, he will use violence if it means protecting the ones he cares deeply about similar to Mari.
Sunny (Dream):
Although he is very quiet, he loves playing his violin. Not much is know about him other than he does not like to speak and is usually around his older sister, MARI. Sunny is loyal to his sister and is very intelligent for his age. He likes to draw when he is free and loves to imagine.
Sweetheart:
A temporary addition to the team, she loves herself the most. Although she has her snarky attitude, experiencing rock bottom for the first time has knocked her down a few pegs. She is a bit more mature and understanding of others, but mostly just keeps her old habits when it's best benefits her. She does have an obsession with Hero, but is always blocked by Mari when she tries to advance.
Hi here have a very short one-shot, wordcount is ~350 so it's like barely a drabble for me. (Yes I know a drabble is a 100 word fic don't @ me-)

The knock is simple and quick, and Grian and Mumbo share a quizzical glance. Mumbo goes to answer the door, and he opens it to find Tubbo standing on the porch.
"Tubbo!" He greets, surprised and confused. "What are you doing here?" Not that he minds, but the shop barely closed fifteen minutes ago and Tubbo hardly ever comes to the manor.
Grian peers out, wings fluffing. "Tubbo!" He greets with endless enthusiasm, smiling and stepping out. "What's going on?"
Tubbo smiles. "Hi guys! Just thought I'd visit and say hi, now that you're dating my dad."
"Uh, that's very nice of you," Mumbo says, suddenly suspicious. "But we have been dating him for a couple weeks now."
"Right, and now he's out of town, and we can talk."
"Talk?" Grian repeats, unease slipping into his voice.
Tubbo smiles sweetly and, before either Grian or Mumbo can stop him, he reaches up, grabs the lapels of their shirts and drags them down to his level.
He looks them dead in the eyes, his own wide and sharp and gleaming with something dangerous, and he says, "My dad is the most important person in the world to me, and if anything happens to him I will burn the world down. If you two do anything to hurt him, I'll make you wish the Purists got you instead. Understand?"
Grian barely manages to squeak out an affirmation, and Mumbo is too shocked to respond at all- the boy's face shows absolutely no signs of deception or humor, and Mumbo thinks he's serious.
Tubbo lets go and steps back, clapping his hands together. "Good!" He almost sings, smile innocent and blinding if not for his eyes. "Then I think we won't have any problems! I need to get back to finish closing out the shop now, bye!"
And then he was gone, leaving the Vampire and Avian standing in silent shock on the front porch.
A bit about this AU: Passive and Nightmare (aka Corruption) aren't two separate beings like in normal Dreamtale. Passive has been sealed deep within Nightmare, though, and with time he starts to fade. So, in an attempt to save him, Nightmare asks Error for help. They take a negativity apple from Nightmare and some soul essence from Error to form a stable soul, and then fuse it with a skeleton body using Nightmare's DNA as a base. The end result is Passive being "reborn" of sorts into Midnight, since he doesn't remember at first due to the shock of almost dying and being brought back with an actual soul.
YES okay so, we can go with the basic guide I had from before!
Types:
Abusers: These characters physically and emotionally harm MC, being more "traditional" in these ways. Punching, yelling, kicking, screaming, hair pulling, these characters CAN and WILL use force on MC to subdue them. While each character is technically an Abuser, not all Abusers can fall into a category though, so it's best to just place them here.
Abandoners: These characters don't care for MC, or their situation, not acknowledging or even caring about what they're enduring. They also enable the other characters by not doing anything or stepping in to help them. They are a dead end for help.
Blissful Ignorants: These characters are either delusional, refuse to look at the truth, or both. They cannot handle the fact that the people they know are holding this type of darkness inside them, their minds diluting them at every turn.
Yanderes: We all know what a yandere is. With an obsessive love towards MC that is toxic, possessive, a d usually one sided.
Manipulators: These characters are much like yanderes, expect they don't hold a love for MC, using them for their own advantage and pleasure whenever they please. They can become yandere, but instead of putting their darling first much like a yandere, they view themselves as above MC- they're only a toy to be played with and thrown away when bored.
Okay, okay, so what if in the Midnight AU, the forgetting effect only works on people who have fond feelings for Wukong? The Demon Bull Family reluctantly agree to help him. Wukong is relieved and is on his best behavior and is all respectful and nice. Slowly, their feelings of resentment for him start to fade. Unfortunately for Wukong, so do their memories of him.

i mean. i was going to have the Demon Bull Family be immune to it for Reasons, and just to have some shenanigans of Wukong hanging out with them but. h.

of course, i think that Red Son would probably figure out that it’s connected to how they feel about Wukong, so he’d probably tell him, so Wukong knows that this is why they forget him which. ouch??? that’d hurt so much more if he knew the reason the Demon Bull Family was starting to forget him was because they were starting to care again????
....Wukong actively starts antagonizing them, in a last ditch effort to keep them from forgetting, but it doesn’t work. and soon enough. Wukong is on his own again.
meanwhile, MK and the others....since they’ve forgotten why they’re out in the middle of nowhere, well. they’re in the right state... to be attacked-
Wukong hears them being attacked and shows up to save them- and gets reintegrated into the group, but this time its as “random person who showed up to help us, none of us know who he is though”.
and Wukong.....it hurts him, every time the others look at him and theres no recognition from before in their eyes. but, he can’t just leave them again, because what if they get attacked again? no, he can’t just separate himself from them. so instead he just grins and bears it, pretends to be an actual stranger-
he slips up sometimes, saying something he shouldn’t know, and he just wants to start crying when they respond to it by looking at him in suspicion, but he bears it. because he has to. for their safety.
