So so so, hey! I saw the twin au idea and thought it looked cool, could you maybe give me a lil summery about it?? :D
Of course you can ask away! All I’ll say now is that the AU has been touched up and received a fair bit of plot development with some close friends of mine ( so other skype etc). Because of that, it has changed the course of some things in the twin au.
But it goes something like this - i’ll do my best to sum it up as best as I can.
Jak and Jadan are twin brothers, Jadan being the youngest. Jak’s the usual energetic would-be-hero we all know and love him for. Jadan however is his sickly brother, having been touched by dark eco ever since he were born. Jadan has been unable to do the things Jak has been able to do, staying home or venturing to receive treatment from the dark eco sages. From there, much of the AU follows the story line of the Jak games, a bit with some differences due to Jadans presence.
Jak 2 is mostly where it changes, where both Jak and Jadan were captured for the experiments. Eventually resulting in which they were used together - one who could channel eco and the other who could handle dark eco. Which, these experiments lead to Jak being touched by dark eco because he was perceived as being the stronger subject between them both. Which as a result - Jadan died in prison. The truth of that fact however,is that he was dumped in the wasteland only to awaken - having not actually died.
Because of this, Jadan finds his way to spargus and Jak’s without his brother whom - because of the experiments and s to say, fusing the brothers capability’s together. It kinda messed with his ( and Jadans memory’s. ) Leading to Jak at first forgetting Jadan existed. of course, by the end of Jak 2 he re-learns of Jadans assistance because of the twins he assisted in protecting ( to then send back in time. )
Eventually they two reunite in Jak 3, but as it stands I’m still planning out much of how some things change or some plot elements for Jak 3 ( even though I’ve got bits and bobs planned for say Jak X even. )
