curious of the line between strong conscious conviction that happens to be incorrect compared to belief derived from cognitive psychotic delusion. in the sense that radical political belief havers have been force institutionalized in the past, you could still find the term “delusional” thrown around derogatorily amidst informal political arguing and whatever. but also for like, other things. even at a less broad level such as thinking about a time i was simply wrong about something vs ways in which my behavior and being was altered due to an actual delusion i was experiencing, i will wonder what specifically makes the difference. whether it is something that can be objectively/clinically measured, or if the approach to classifying delusion is majorly based on the ideas from psychiatry ?

his prediction accuracy fluctuates based on how close he is to the person/how well he knows them/what’s going on

as a survivor he still gets predictions, but a lot of them are from alternate timelines! he gets glimpses of other groups of survivors, of things from the IF timeline, or from nondespair aus. he sees himself with an arm around a guy with a pompadour, he sees his mother walking down the aisle with someone he doesn’t know, he sees himself graduating. he sees things that could have been and he can’t tell anyone because it eats him up inside.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
