Midorifest is the smaller, mid-year, two-day anime convention spun off of larger, sister convention, “Midoricon”. I’ve scheduled my first cosplay photoshoot ever and I’m super excited! It’ll be for Ariel, and it’s going to be very very VERY early morning Saturday of MidoriFest at Turkey Creek Lake. The photographer was amazing to offer a shoot that early, apparently she’s gotten some gorgeous shots there in the early morning with the mist rising off the water.
Tsubasacon’s the only con that ever seems real to me months in advance, so I’m just now starting to get excited for Midori. I’m also looking forward to helping out with the D20 Girls panels over the weekend!
