@mignon19001 liked for a starter from LANA WINTERS
God, Lana hated this. She hadn’t seen her daughter since the day that she was born, when she’d given in and beast fed her to keep her from crying so loud. But that had been the last time they’d had a real interaction. She’d hunted the girl down a few years later, when she was only in gradeschool, because she had some regrets about putting her up for adoption, but it had been for the best. Now, though, as she stood in front of the girl’s home, Lana was frozen in place. She’d received a call about the girl needing something from a family member, a biological one, maybe for a school project or something - she didn’t know. But she felt that she owed this to her only child. Reaching up, she knocked on the door a couple of times before stepping back - considering leaving as she waited for the door to be answered.
