I've been finding it hard to adjust to being back home. Every other time I come home I know I'm not staying for long and that knowledge is comforting because no matter what happens I always have an escape. The thought of seeing family and friends seems different now. I'm scared of what they'll ask and how they'll see me, I'm scared of not being able to provide them with any concrete answers about where my future lays. But this is all in my head. These people do not want a success story, the monster in my head does. These people to do not want to hear a solid career plan, the monster in my head does👹 These people are just happy to spend time with me and see me smile. This rock seemed huge when I was a child and conquering it was always an achievement. Yesterday I climbed with ease with an old friend and realised, all people want from me is, well, just to be myself.
