Mike awkwardly standing at the door to El’s class, hands in his pockets, not wanting to say goodbye to her even if it’s only for an hour
El giving Mike a quick kiss on the check and scurrying off into her classroom
Mike standing at the door for a few extra seconds just to make sure she gets settled
El walking out of her class to see Mike waiting for her across the hall, ready to walk her to her next class
Mike driving El home in his lil Honda Civic, blasting Ed Sheeran and singing all the lyrics which makes El laugh every time without fail
Late night study dates at the library listening to music over shared ear buds and neon highlighters
When Mike gets bored of studying he makes a habit of drawing hearts on El’s arm with the pink highlighter to which she would always protest but secretly she loves them and would watch with starry eyes as he drew them up the length of her arm
Mike staying awake to gaze at El when she falls asleep on her textbook while studying
Going for late night coffee runs so much that Mike has El’s order memorized and will sometimes surprise her on school mornings with it
Mike letting El doddle on his notebook in colourful pens
Mike being absolutely whipped for his beautiful girlfriend and making sure to tell everyone about it
