HOW DO YE FEEL 'BOUT EP 2 RELEASING IN JANUARY? *sips tea nervously* I'm kinda glad they're taking their time with it and are not rushing to release it. Though I'm so fucking impatient lol

Same as you. Happy that it won’t be rushed, but also disappointed that we have to wait SOO LOOOONG. I was really hoping we’d get it within the next week or two so it would be out in time for Christmas. But as long as episode 2 features Chris and some good wholesome bonding with the brothers, I’ll be happy. I hope the new episode is like 6 hours long lol.

I think Cassidy and Finn are siblings. Even twins.

Why? Look at how they behave around each other and the similarities between them:

- They clearly are not a couple because they tease each other about their “scoreboards,” Finn teases Cassidy saying “You always go for those suburban boys,” etc. (they might also be just very close friends, but the way Finn talks about Cassidy makes it seem like they’ve known each other forever)

- Their eye colors are pretty similar - they’re both green, but Cassidy’s have a slight brown tint and Finn has a slight blue one. Blue and green eyes can change color based on the lighting, so that might be it:

- This one isn’t really “proof,” but we haven’t had any twins in Life is Strange as of now. One of LiS 2′s themes is brotherhood, so why the heck not include twin siblings?

NOOOO NOT AT ALL, I’ve been obsessively checking the Life is Strange Twitter, the subreddit, and the lis2 tag on here in hopes of a teaser trailer, an announcement, literally ANYTHING. The community in general has been way more quiet than in between episodes of Before the Storm (no new Blackwell Podcast episodes, voice actors are less active on social media, etc.) so there’s not even much to talk about :(

Do you think we'll see flashback scenes later on in LiS 2? Something like "X years ago" for example. It could work for telling us how Sean and Daniel's mother was like before she left, or a key moment in Sean's life. (or even Esteban's, who knows)

Possibly! Flashbacks could be super interesting, especially since the previous games in the series have never used them. Some people were suggesting that characters like Lyla and Esteban could still appear in future episodes in flashbacks and you’re right, it would be a great way to visually show how Sean and Daniel’s mom left or how she was as a parent. 

The only thing that I’m unsure about is whether Dontnod would be willing or have the resources to create character models/animations for young Sean and baby/toddler Daniel if they only appeared in one or two flashbacks, and if young Sean would have a new voice actor since he’s currently voiced by an adult.
