ESC 2018: My story

Actually, I really like ESC but I extremely rarely become a fan of any ESC singers or musicians. Speaking about other years, this happened to me only in 2015 (Loïc Nottet/Belgium yeah) but he has only several covers (However,I still listen to Rhythm Inside). And this year give plenty of emotions. Honesty, I didn't watch Eurovision in 2017 because there were no broadcasting on TV (yeah because of the situation with our singer and Ukraine, you've maybe heard) and I had no free time.In any case, I was waiting for Hockey World Cup this year. Before the 1st semifinal I checked the participants list and I saw Alekseev (he is very popular in our country, I like his song too) So, I decided to watch it but I fell asleep. I didn't watch the second one because of studing. Then I made decision to watch Grand final. I manged to turn on the TV during 6 performance (Estonia) but it was a bit dull for me and I fell asleep for several items. The first country I liked was France ( I usually like France on ESC ) and I thought: there are no Russia and Alekseev today so I'll support France. And after that I so CZECH REPUBLIC OH MY. And next 4 hours I was listening to Lie to me (however, I rarely listen to the music with headphones ....) I was pissed off during jury's voting...MIKOLAS JOSEF PERFORMED EXTREMLY GOOD I HAD NO ANY WORDS AFTER IT AND YOU GIVE HIM ONLY 2 POINTS? WHAT? Alas, it was so. BUT HE MANEGED  TO GET 6 PLACE (4) !!!!! I was impressed by this performance and  all next day I thought about it. I listened to other his songs and really like them ( “Free” and “Believe ” especilly) because they have really nice messages to listeners. Besides, Mikolas inspired me a lot ( I had enought difficultiesand I was insired by the situation of his injury and his way of becoming a singer). He shows his life difficulties, even his belief (this is very close for me), people’s addiction to Mass Media and so on. Speaking about inspiration again, I wanted to have a career of artist but I leave this I idea because I was afraind of poverty that all the artists face at some moment (like a misician, sportsman or actor) Thanks to Mikolas and his songs, I understand all my priorities, great source of inspiration and so on. ESC 2018 CHANGED ME
