I use Milanote! You can try it for free, though I do use the paid version. I really like it because you can make boards for pretty much anything. Here’s my other character page with notes for our previous Hunter: The Vigil game. As well as the dashboard for the Waterdeep game I GM, and an NPC template from it.
I also have used it to hoard art resources and keep track of commissions! As well as plan fics with my spouse about our ocs :)
I really like how VISUAL it is. For better and for worse, I’m a big “it has to be pretty or I’m not using it” person when it comes to organizing projects. Milanote so far has been the only option that does the most of what I want. It also is hosted online (though you can download your boards as pdfs) which is nice bc my PC died recently :’) but all my milanote stuff is safe! If you ever happen to use it yourself, I do indeed have templates I’m pretty sure I can share.

Well, the thing is. A worm known as the ship between a dead teenager and an autistic viking has taken over my brain. I'm planning a fic, but I'm running out of space on the app I am using. I humbly ask thee to use my referral code to aid me in gaining more space, so I don't have to create a new account.
Milanote is used by creatives of all kinds, but I most commonly see it used by graphic and interior designers. I personally use it for planning artworks and written pieces. It's free to use, but space is limited on free accounts.
Here are some examples of how I use Milanote down below:
Example 1, planning for You're Everywhere to Me poster/cover. Featuring lovely art from left to right and top to bottom oddthesungod (modern au hijack LOVE), neytui (yummy and exactly how I picture Hiccup as a modern teenager), meltesh28 (Jack hair reference, a goddamn life-saver), and purinshock (COLORS AND LIGHTING MY BELOVED.)
Example 2, timeline planning for fic. You probably can't even see words at all, but know this is what I want the extra space for. I'm an addict.
I shared these on my side blog (the Miraculog) sometime last year, and decided to post them here as well. Some have been updated, some haven't.
These are all for different Marinette Salt AUs, some are more developed than others. I'll give a brief summary of each one when we get to them.
Adrien Is (NOT) Hawkmoth: Marinette is chosen to be Ladybug, but Adrien isn't chosen to be Chat Noir. When she learns Adrien is possession of the missing Grimoire, she accuses him of being Hawkmoth, leading to her stealing and breaking his phone while trying to find evidence of him being hers and Duchess' biggest enemy.
• Because Adrien isn't Chat Noir, I decided that I still wanted Ladybug to dislike her partner. Hence why Duchess is Chloe with the cat miraculous.
• While Master Fu didn't choose Adrien, Su Han did. Su Han was able to take back one miraculous from Marinette, the mouse, which he ended up giving to Adrien.
• Adrien can tell Ladybug doesn't like him, he just can't tell why. Because of this, he never develops a crush on her. Instead he ends up falling for her partner, Duchess.
Selfish Wishing: Marinette ends up making The Wish. Wishing for her dream to come true, she wakes up in New York, learning she interns with the Style Queen, Audrey Bourgeois, Gabriel Agreste doesn't exist*, and that both of the boys she had feelings for were dating someone.*
• *Gabriel does exist, he was born. When I say "Gabriel Agreste doesn't exist," I mean Gabi Grassette never became Gabriel Agreste. He was never discovered.
• *Adrien is dating Kagami, and Luka is dating Felix. In this AU, Adrien and Felix are twins, both created by Emilie, and are raised by her, Amelie, and Nathalie.
• The Miraculous team in this AU is currently: Luka (ladybug), Juleka (cat), Adrien (bee), Felix (peacock), Sabrina (horse), and Nathaniel (fox)
• Because Gabriel isn't around, this universe's butterfly miraculous holder is Colt Fathom (aka Felix's dad in canon), who wants to make a wish so he can force Amelie to marry him since she rejected him.
• Adrien's name as the bee hero, Lupine, comes from a flower.
Lovebird (official name TBD): Divergence from the end of Syren. After Adrien loses his miraculous, he ends up discovering the peacock miraculous in his father's safe. Not wanting to lose this one, he ends up being a third party in the fight between Ladybug and her team, and Hawkmoth.
• rather than going to see Adrien to give him the power up potions, Fu visited him to take away his miraculous. His reason was that Adrien proved he didn't have the patience to wait for him and demanded too much of Ladybug. Essentially, he wasn't fit for the job.
• the peacock miraculous isn't broken, mostly because I just never liked that. Emilie died to an illness, and Colt died in a car accident.
• Adrien goes by Lovebird when he uses his new miraculous, naming himself after the small bird, which can be seen with blue feathers.
Pierrot: Maribat/Mirabat AU. Ladybug takes Chat Noir's miraculous in order to give it to it's "True Holder." She'll eventually give it to Robin aka Damian Wayne. While out testing the miraculous, the two run into Pierrot, Poison Ivy's and Harley Quinn's adopted child. It doesn't take long for Ladybug to learn Pierrot is in fact a runaway Adrien Agreste, or as she'll learn, Buttercup Isley.
• Adrien running away has more to do with a fight he had with his father, who eventually disowned him. While he isn't sure if Gabriel actually could do that, he still ended up leaving.
• Pierrot isn't a villain, but they're also not a hero. For the most part, they just like being an annoyance when things aren't that bad. If Batman just needs Robin for something, the other Bats are up for the grabs. And if all Bats are needed, they back off. They can be their entertainment some other day.
• Adrien does a lot of self discovery while adjusting to his new life, one of which is that they're nonbinary.
• Because Pierrot was created to go with Harley Quinn, Adrien chooses their new name to be Buttercup Isley to go with Poison Ivy, aka Pamela Isley.
