Management was over the moon with the latest photo shoot slides they received in head office today. They've not been this excited since they got name badges in the mail for the South by South Frankston cover band industry fete. Hot rat LA Rock smoking photographer Skwiddles McGee never fails to deliver a disposable camera filled with solid gold local zine cover worthy classics. The phone's been flyin off the ringer with label reps like old mate Phil Meebuns, the drummer with that 4 track Foster cassette recorder who knows a guy, and Jeff Uckmeed, the night cleaner at the Sony warehouse, have both gone into a bidding war over dibs on the door spot at next month's gig at the Retreat in Brunswick Sunday 10th of December. That kind of tension between those two heavy weights of the outer Dandenong cover band scene will be worth the free entry to see them go head to head. If you're lucky, you may catch Skwiddles in the beer garden enjoying a well earned tailor made Winnie Blue, but you'll most likely find him havin a kip behind the wheelie bins before our record deal making set.
