I like the connoisseur vanilla ice cream. Aurora calls it "blue" ice cream cos of the label. If you look closely, behind that metallic ice cream cone, a favourite human of mine Sean was cunningly preparing a bowl for our riff dessert that was our @iamduckeye show at @bombayrockbrunswick last night; what a mouthfeelzies that was! It topped off the deeply satisfying piehole filler gig on Friday night at @_garage117cafe with so many great ratbags! Oh, that Sean starts recording the Duckeye drums for the 5th album late next month. Thank you so much Radelaide! We had a good feeling on the drive to you but we never envisaged such an amazing warm welcome! From backyard ex-brothel rabbit Ian and house turtle Mr T surrounded by some of the kindest people on the planet taking us into their home to diving into wheelie bins, smashing guitars onto factory rooves to crowd surfing on a bunch of loud ratbags of great bands then crashing out in an Adelaide Hills 150 year old gaol house with fresh towels and cockatoo kisses. Jules and I run our sound tools like Mad Max 2 vehicles so he is happy to let me use whatever to make it work. I found what I think was part of a hinge to house the input jack. It should now withstand another pummelling for a while. Next @iamduckeye show will put it to the test as usual.
