Miles will never be the same since his dad died, I mean, he does have his mother and his uncle but it feels so wrong knowing his dad needed to be there too, he just feel like this wasn’t supposed to happen.

It wasn’t a surprise to anyone when he cling into you. You are his girlfriend, but the way he appears in the middle of the night asking you to hug him until he falls asleep, it’s a way to show you how weak his heart was

A thing no one ever see.

Si you were his soulmate right? The only person who can understand how his heart beats, the only person who cares about what he thinks, that should be the reason why you can’t dump him.

— Amor, do you believe we’re together in every universe? — He asks, his head between your legs as you see a movie on the tv

Your hand finds its way playing with his braids, you think before lifting his face so he can see yours

— Of course, and if we don’t, I know I’ll be the same lovesick girl who follows you everywhere — With a chuckle you lean to kiss his lips

He can’t be more happy than this, the way you hug his heart is enough for die with a smile

So, when he lost you it felt like someone just shot him.

You ran quick as you could, this place wasn’t your universe and you’re sure Miles is not safe here, whoever is this universe version of him he doesn’t look like a good person

Not knowing he lost his father.

Jumping to roof to roof you found Miles with… Uncle Aaron? That doesn’t feel right, you hide hearing their conversation

Is that? A shadow moves and before you can warn Miles that weird shadow knocks him out, you covered your mouth trying not to make any sound, at this point Miles can only relay on you.

Think! Think! You take a deep breath following them across the city. You’re confused once you noticed how they brought him to Aaron’s apartment. You hide behind the wall to see the situation through the window.

You want to choke Aaron when he turns up the music, you can’t hear anything, only see the way Miles looks so scared about whatever they’re telling him

What could you do? It’s a 2 vs 1, even if you release Miles you’re not in your world.

Your eyes wides open as you look how this version of the prowler is no one but Miles, oh this line is so fucked up

You too a deep breath, pulling your mask on, you broke the window letting yourself in.

— I’m sorry gentlemen, but this spider is mine — You chuckled pulling out your gun

You’re ready to shoot the fake bullets on your gun, getting bolder at the idea of finally being able to reach for real ones. After all, they don’t matter.

— (Reader)! Get out of here! — Miles shouted moving his body trying to reach you

He’s tied up, so tight it didn’t work at all

Pointing your gun to this weird version of Miles you don’t hesitate to fidget with the trigger, silently threatening to shoot.

— Release him, we don’t want to do this, buddy — you warned before turning to see Aaron who tried to approach

Now there is a gun pointing at you, oh mother, how you hate not having two guns.

— Are you (Reader)? — Miles asks, moving slowly to you

Your intuition tells you he doesn’t mean any harm, he just looks so.. surprised, you can’t miss the sparkle on his eyes like you were everything in his world

You shoot a bullet to the ceiling, Aaron tries to stop Miles but in a velocity you didn’t thought was possible, he hugs you.

A surprised, no, a concern feeling takes over your body, feeling how weird it is for you to even try to do something. Why is this so hard? And why do you feel the need to hug him back? He’s not your Miles

— You’re alive, oh god, you’re alive, mi amor you’re alive! — He moves to hold your face

His hands made the attempt to take your mask off but you pushed him away, whatever is in his mind, he is not prepared to see how you look now

— ¿Amor? ¿Que pasa? It’s me, Miles — he tries to hold you again, your guard is down now ,but you can’t let him see it

Not if his breakdown is made with true experiences.

— I’m not your (Reader) — you could feel the cold tone in your voice, a tone he never expected you to use for him, but that doesn’t stop him from holding your shoulders

He’s about to take his heart out of his chest just for you to hold, just once.

— Please, just let me see your face — He begs, you sighed

Letting him take off your mask you see how his body freezes, a side of your face is completely burned out and the way you didn’t use any eye prosthesis just make it worse for him

— What- What happened? Tu cara- tu- — You smack his hand away from you, moving away to see your Miles

He looks a way, a constant reminder of how ashamed he is to see your face. Just a way to remind him his failures.

With a quick glance you look at this Miles, you feel how his heart beats in pain

Of course, taking away the wish to see his girlfriend again is bad, but you don’t care at all. You don’t know him, and you never will

— Let my Miles go, we don’t want to do this longer than it should be — you said facing Aaron

The way he looks at your face, he is having the same reaction they were having

One filled with pity, sadness and guilt.

— He had the power to protect you and still he didn’t — Miles mumbled, the words move across your mind before turning to see him

A heavy hit sends you to unconscious, he takes you in his arms before you reach the floor.

— Don’t worry, amor, yo no cometeré ese error — He whispers before everything goes blank you don’t know what he’s saying

Not like you care, your body feels too tired to even care about the screams of your Miles.

I adore the idea of Miles putting the fear of God into the spidersociety by training more of his lightning and camouflage skills.

Because the power of lightning is terrifying, especially since they aren't common under the spiders.

I also imagine that he has extreme silicone valley vibes. Both for the other spiders and those from his universe.

Be it the fact that he smells like rain (even in the hottest of summers), that his eyes shimmer a blue when there is a storm brewing or how some of the electrucal machinery just stops working whenever he is in a "mood".

(This doesn't mean that others dislike or get out of his way. Miles is a social butterfly, even if he accidentaly shocks you)

But to get back to him terrifying others.

Miles is really smart, even if most people underestimate him for being a child.

He figured out how to charge a phone without destroying it to get a better control over his powers.

Because he doesn't want to kill anyone with them.

It escalates after that.

He builds up his stamina by going bigger and bigger till he was able to manipulate big machinery with them.

(Margo and Penny where a big help with that)

He was even able to manipulate his lighting into "webs". It takes work because he has to place small metal rods around his victims, before the can actually use his lightning as a trap.

Then he trained in controlling electricity that doesn't come from him, by going into dimensions with lightningstorms to get hit with it.

It is as insane as it sounds, but it turned into a great way to get his emotions out. Its like screaming into a pillow for him and he finds a lot of joy in it.

(The poor souls that saw him train believed him to be a crypit. The society was even called a few times, but they never catched him in the act. )

(Pav on the other hand did and it awoke a lot in him. Especially since je wasn't aware that this was Miles, as he never really got to see his face. Him and Gayatri kinda searched for the "boy that commended lightning".)

Miles actually dtarted to fuck with the weather after that, creating his own lightningstorms by letting his own lightning heat up the atmosphere enough.

Its really draining for him though so only its only successful 2/10 times and he actually faints 5/10 if he doesn't get striked by lightning.

But if he is successful in creating a lighting storm he is actually able to cast a Kirin like Sasuke. Even if his doesn't look like a dragon.

(He doesn't do it alone due to the fear of fainting. The only person he trusts with this is Hobie. Hobie himself isn't sure if he should be amazed that Miles can manipulate the weather or if he should fear for his friend. )

(It ping pongs depending if miles is successful and happy in his small lighting storm or if he is resting inside of his arms)

He does all of this training away from the eyes of the spidersociety.

Miles is a forgive but not forget type, so hed like to have a few cards up his sleeve.

(There are moments where he has to ise them through. Battles that could escalate if he didn't give his all. But the shocked faces afterwards are the best)

(People that are aware of his entire training: Hobie, 42, Penny, Margo and Noir. Hobie is more of an emotional support, whilst Margo and Penny really help him with the manipulating of machinery and his own discharge if he gets the zoomies. 42 keeps on making miles go over his boundaries to see what he could do. Noir is their trusted adult who actually keeps Miles in check if he is about to go to far)

(People that kind of know: Pav, Gwen and Spiderham. Its not that Miles doesn't trust him. He just doesn't want to involve them in his insanity. Especially Spiderham, who had just lost Meows Morales and would do foolish things in his grief. Miles also just wants to impress pav, especially after he told him about "the boy that could tame lighting". Neither are aware.

(People that don't know: Peter, the spider society and his parents.)
