As a Tumblr veteran it is really sad to see the way the app runs now. I understand that they need ads to survive, I understand that ratings are important, I understand that people paying to sponsor their posts is how Tumblr stays alive. But this site used to be based on users, not corporations.

I just missed the old days of the internet where my eyes weren't a constant vessel for ads.
