do you know if i can vote in referendums if im not a uk citizen but i am an eu citizen?

im not entirely sure but i think it may vary between referendums

like the referendum in 2011 about the voting system allowed you to vote if you were a british or irish citizen (or a citizen of certain commonwealth countries) but not if you were an eu citizen

but for the scottish independence referendum you were also allowed to vote if you were an eu citizen living in scotland

so yeah i think for the eu referendum or any others that happen in the near future it will be a matter of checking the voting guidelines when the electoral commission publishes them nearer the time of the referendum

Hi!

I would keep an eye on the tags, #use your language day (but also “speak your language day” or “speak your own language day” because people who aren’t up to date are also likely to post there) because I am positive you are going to find other Greeks!

The tag for individual languages goes “uyld: [name if your language in your language]” but i would also look into “uyld: greek” for example, you may be able to find stray Greeks!
