cannot wait for Wizards Beyond to tackle even more bad guys and seasonal storylines only to get to the true villain of the entire WOWP Universe:
The Family Wizard Competition
I'm the mother of yet another engaged young woman! Milo took a group of us out to the Deadgrass Isle Museum for their special New Year's Day event and--with prior approval from Colin and I, of course--got down on one knee and asked Cadence to be his wife! The ring was gorgeous, and she had the biggest smile on her face as she said yes.
With a courtship of almost a year and a half, it's been a long time coming! Normally the ISCS advises courtships of under a year in order to preserve the purity of the young people involved, but since Cadence and Milo did long distance, they had permission from both sets of parents to extend the timeline a little--especially on our end, since the expectation is for Cadence to move over a thousand miles away to join the Russos in Willow Creek. Aside from Sam, who is temporarily stationed in Selvadorada, Cadence will be the child living farthest from us. We'll all miss her terribly, but we are comforted that she will be "leaving and cleaving" to a man who loves and respects her and, most importantly, the Lord.
Isn't her ring lovely? Milo went over his financial situation--including the cost of the ring he wanted to buy--with Colin and I the day he asked for our blessing, and we're confident he'll be able to provide. Milo has worked for the Russo family business ever since he graduated from Christian Heritage Academy in Willow Creek, and as the eldest grandson, he recently inherited a gorgeous old house in Willow Creek from his grandparents. The wedding will be here in Brindleton Bay to make things easy for the people at SLC, but Cadence is already planning a couple of trips down south in the months between betrothal and union to make sure the house is ready for their married life. What an exciting new season of life we've found ourselves in!
I looked on AO3 but I’m surprised there isn’t any fics about young Billie before the mind wipe visiting her Uncle Justin and Aunt Giada. I wonder what her and Roman’s cousin interactions were like? I just think it would be cute and I hope we get some flashbacks.
You know.. I really liked the growing family dynamic Disney had going on between Justin and his family in WBWP with Billie before News broke out that Alex was actually her mom.
Making Justin her Uncle, Giada her aunt, and both Roman and Milo her cousins.
Like don’t get me wrong, I like the Alex being Billie’s mom plotline. I just think that the idea of Billie having no blood relation to the Russos as a whole would’ve been an even more interesting idea.
Makes me want a whole rewritten WBWP fanfic where Alex isn’t Billie’s mom but is like a mother figure to her before Alex leaves her in Justin’s care and then he later adopts her.
Like it would still follow the original storyline of the show just not the “Alex is Billie’s biological mother” storyline.
Welcome to the world, Miranda, Milo, and Jolene! Yes, triplets!
So I've been watching Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and I'm so confused as to why Roman and Milo aren't wizards. Like Jerry wasn't even a wizard anymore when he had kids and all three of them had magic. And clearly Justin still has his powers, but neither of his kids do? For some reason?
Also, unrelated, but where is Billie's family? Does she have one?
