Mimbulus Mimbletonia: Mimbulus Mimbletonia is an exceptionally rare magical plant that is native to Assyria located in the Middle East. This plant is known for its effervescent and fidgeting nature along with its idiosyncratic defense mechanism. The Mimbulus Mimbletonia squirts out Stinksap, which is a dark green non-lethal fluid that smells analogous to manure, from the boils on its surface. In 1995, Neville Longbottom demonstrated this defense mechanism to Harry on the Hogwarts Express which later covered everyone in the compartment with Stinksap. Additionally, Mimbulus Mimbletonia was used as a password for the Gryffindor common room at the beginning of the 1995-96 school year.
