Hello Ari !! Last night I rescued a conifer bug who had snuck into my room through a hole in my screen and thought of you and your. Have you ever met one ? They are true bugs, but unlike assassin bugs they can't bite humans and are very ditzy and docile. When they're scared they give off a banana scent ! It's not a great defence mechanism because it doesn't smell offensive. They're very sweet and cute insects. I hope you have a beautiful day and cross paths with a cute little insect of your own!

hi, Mimi!! I looked up conifer bugs, and I have to say I’m not sure if I’ve seen one or not! I suspect I have, because they’re apparently pretty common where I grew up, but they look enough like stink bugs that I don’t know if I’ve encountered one and thought it was a stink bug. They are very pretty, though! Now that I know what differences to look out for, I’ll have to take a moment to look closer the next time I’m releasing an insect outside!

Also, I saw a possum last night on my drive home from work :0 I think that was your influence, somehow.
