"Flower, gleam and glow, Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse, Bring back what once was mine." ~Tangled, Disney I firmly believe nature holds such incredible healing powers. Whether finding nutrients to honor our bodies or simply solace by water, in the forest, near the ocean, something lies there for each individual. Mother Earth gives so graciously, yet we often choose to ignore Her, staying behind a blue screen or cold walls. As children, we are drawn to the wilderness, respecting it's limitless magic. Yet, the years advance and we grow farther from this natural instinct, this impulse to connect to the Earth world. I've been feeling so disconnected, ungrounded, floating through the air, a perilous dandelion seed tossed to and fro with no direction. I realized I have not been spending as much time outdoors as usual. I am beginning to lose my sense of connection, one stemming from my love for nature. Life hums in the soil, in each tree trunk, blossom, and babbling river. There is an indescribable energy swirling around all living things. It heals, nurtures, stimulates, and grounds. Nature gives us a chance to lose the rush of time. We find, again, the childlike joys of our toes on the grass or in sand. The amazement of rain or puffy clouds in wild designs. The pleasure of a stunning flower or leaf. Earth rekindles and reconnects us to the beautiful energy within that nothing else can create. Her hands reach out with love. What if you choose to take them and treat Her with care? What if you ask Her to heal those silent places you feel you cannot reach? #nature #hippie #flower #personal #yoga #yogaeverydamnday #healing #wilding #earth #teampixel #meditation #mindfulness #mindfulwalk #mentalhealth #healing #health #tangled #earthchild #words #photography #recovery #reflection #disney #beauty #nature #yogalife
