Okay as we’re all aware Minecraft villagers are antisemetic (big nose, greed, golems, etc etc) but like does anyone have any redesigns? Because I’d love to see some concepts of potential redesigns that make them both distinct from the player while removing the more, problematic design choices. I can’t think of ever seeing any before and I’d be really curious to see if anyone has any ideas!

Mostly because I want to make my own versions but as I’ve been playing this game for a decade it’s hard for me to picture Minecraft villagers with any huge changes which is making it rather difficult to think of how to fix them and still have them look decent. Which is annoying when you’re trying to world build villagers for stories and art and etcetera but want them to not be incredibly antisemetic. So I’m hoping looking at other people’s cool ideas will make something click for me!

Honestly, the videos coming out of the Minecraft screenings are grossing me out. Even without all the popcorn throwing and the live chicken, I just can't wrap my head around seeing the audience blatantly use their cellphones to record the movie. Were these people raised in a barn? And to top it off, the director is actually okay with these behaviors? Of course, from what I heard, the movie is terrible, so he's probably just glad that people are paying money to see it. And then, assholes on twt are just, like, "Let people have fun." I had fun wearing matching pink clothes with my bestie to watch Barbie. I had fun humming along to Defying Gravity. I don't know about you but throwing away food, making underpaid employees clean after your mess, or smuggling a real chicken don't sound like fun to me. I don't know.

Also, not to be that person, but I bet that at least a portion of this audience is those who went, "Let's give this movie 'the Acolyte' treatment" at the sight of a black woman in the first trailer.

Honestly so sad about the wild update like G-d it's so underwhelming and the devs are getting so much shit which sucks! Because it's not their fault it's fkin Microsoft! The way that Microsoft is seemingly stanning their Windows edition and ignoring Java...like I'm sad because there were so many options! And it just ended up so bland and i have no excitement about playing 1.19.

I'm just ambivalent and I want to be excited! Minecraft my beloved and I'm usually psyched about updates. This was just, as i said before, underwhelming. :///
