No but genuinely i have some backstory for this

So i am on my survival world, and decide to make a giant hole under my house that leads down into my mine/cave system.

Leading down to the cave is a ladder.

And i was thinking, “wouldn’t it be cool for the ladder to have a backdrop block?” Or something like that idk

So i try out a few different blocks. Copper is too colorful, wood blends in to much, but cobbled deepslate?

Cobbled deepslate was👌👌👌.

Their colors worked so nicely together, and they layered on top of eachother smoothly.

So yeah im crazy
