I hear your snail shipping, I hear your structure shipping, I even hear your block shipping, but I raise you... i dont really know how to classify this, BUT-
The World Border [Java] and The Farlands [Bedrock]
romeo and julietter since java and bedrock players seem to hate the others version
-🍫
Do you have any headcanons on the World Border?
The World Border.
In some places, go out far enough, and a mysterious wall blocks your progress. It can be adjusted by someone with control over the world.
I headcanon that it burns. You touch it and your hand tingles, you keep pressing and it hurts. Maybe you gasp a bit at the unpleasant sensation.
Mobs avoid it. They want nothing to do with the place. Villagers lay in morning as they're split in two. But the border prevents them from doing anything about it.
It's a border. And it's only benefit is for the players who don't load the chunks there.
Mr. spider? uh.. please, I’m gonna have to ask you to get off of the world border?
please? come down?
Well…it’s not a giant mythical statue or anything but it’ll do.
You know how in some games, where there is a world border, the devs will strategically put hard to climb hills or fog just in front of it to deter people getting lost or breaking immersion or something?
Well in my mind, certain kinds of fog are basically nothing but world border to me. Turns out that that exact kind of fog is the kind that is EVERYWHERE in Fallout New Vegas.
I just want to be a radioactive cowboy, but all I see is “no”
Fact #118
If you consider all chunks which haven't been generated to be the default terrain, there are roughly 15360,000,000² × 256 possible combinations of a Minecraft world, excluding entities and block entities.
That's a number which is more than two quintillion, thirteen quadrillion, four hundred and eleven trillion, six hundred and twenty two billion, six hundred and forty one million, five hundred thousand, four hundred and sixteen digits long, or 1010101.262544407245787.
