Dismaland was a cursed art project Banksy made in 2015. Its a parody on Disneyland and a play on words: Dismal being sad and hopeless, and Land being well... a place.

Basically it was like a temporary art show, full of new sculptures by famous artists, but instead of being in a gallery it took place in a theme park and looked like An Evil Carnival Of Capitalism. And while I commend their vision, I think it was WAY too on the nose and it got a lot of backlash because 2015 was the height of shaming people for liking cringe culture.
