Used to be a courser for the Institute, and was one of the first synths (not androids) to defect from them, taking a list of names that the Institute had replaced with synths with her
She refused to have her memory wiped, whether it was by the railroad or institute, so she changed her face and hair to look different
The one obvious thing she refused to change was her voice - she always enjoyed singing along to the radio when she was above ground
Wanting to pursue her passion was the final push she needed in leaving
She arrived in Goodneighbor since it seemed like a place where someone would ask the least questions about her past
She tells Hancock the truth about herself, and offers the document of names in exchange for him not immediately killing her. He reads the documents, recognizes a few names and tells her she can stay as long as doctor Amari can take some scans to make sure she isn’t carrying anything that could be relaying info to the Institute
And with that, she is able to live her own life
She takes the odd job for Whitechapel Charlie - waitressing for the most part, but if Hancock needs someone removed as quietly as possible, she’s the one to do it
Eventually, Whitechapel Charlie hears her sing as she’s cleaning up the bar and insists that she finish the song as best she can
He immediately hires her as a full time singer and sure enough, the bar’s profits sail through the roof
The Third Rail becomes the only jazz bar for miles around, and after her songs in Diamond City Radio’s playlist, people from all over come to hear her sing
She writes her songs and learns to compose them from an old woman who came from out of town
Magnolia’s songs truly become all hers then
She is very partial to flowers - she respects anything able to grow so beautiful in such an inhospitable place
Like all synths, she likes snack cakes
She hates any other thing sugary though, not used to such sweetness after living in the institute for so long
Her preferred method of fighting is hand to hand since it can be utilized well in a small bar like hers and hiding weapons in a dress is too much effort
that being said, she does convince Charlie to let her hide several guns throughout the bar in case there’s ever a time they’d be caught unawares
Part of the reason Hancock greets people who are new to Goodneighbor is so he can relay the information to Magnolia so she can sing “I’m The One You’re Looking For” when they get to the bar
They always get a little extra money that way
She also loathes heels, preferring comfortable boots, but Charlie’s complaining grates on her nerves enough that she complies
She gets her dresses specially made in Diamond City, even having some seasonal ones
She’s much happier singing than she ever was hunting down innocent synths for the Institute
I Took A Sip From My Devil's Cup, Slowly, It's Taking Over Me
Kim Dokja asks for Yoo Joonghyuk to accompany him to a Demon King's ball as his "faithful servant" to rack up notoriety for their nebula and Yoo Joonghyuk is far too soft for him to say no.
Posting the first lil chapter here. I wanna wait to have more written before I post to ao3. This is set a little before the Great Saints and Demon War but just think of it as canon compliant cause even that placement is a bit iffy. Oh and here's the art that inspired this whole thing. It's by one of the official artists for the novel @/1L9l2Aa8UCL0IGJ aka gumnem
"Bemyplusonefortheballandactasmyservant"
"...What?"
Yoo Joonghyuk didn't know if he heard quite right.
He watched as Kim Dokja took a deep breath and said - slower this time but no less strained, "Be my plus one for the ball and act as my servant."
Yoo Joonghyuk's eye twitched.
"Please!" He hurriedly adds, throwing his hands up in a hopefully placating manner.
Yoo Joonghyuk sighed. "And why would I want to do that?" He sees Kim Dokja light up. No doubt the man had already thought up a dozen ways to convince him to go along with whatever scheme he cooked up this time.
"If it looks like the great Yoo Joonghyuk is my faithful servant, then it'll turn the heads of the demon kings! It's basically free status for our nebula." He finished with his trademark scheming smirk.
Yoo Joonghyuk was annoyed to find that he found it kind of endearing. He crossed his arms. "Fine."
"Now before you say no, just know that-" Kim Dokja stopped suddenly. He tilted his head. "What did you just say?"
He knows he's too soft for him. Nevertheless, "I said fine. I'll go along with your stupid plan."
Kim Dokja's smirk morphed into a genuine wide smile. His eyes seemed to sparkle in the same way they do whenever he gets a particularly rare item. Yoo Joonghyuk couldn't stop his heart from skipping a beat at the simultaneously smug and joyful look on the other's face. Which annoyed him.
So of course, his face naturally turned murderous.
Kim Dokja backed up from where he was about to pat the other on the shoulder and hurriedly turned away. He walked out of the other's room, but not before giving a final smile and a, "Thanks Yoo Joonghyuk!"
Yoo Joonghyuk had to grip his sword before he did something stupid like run after him and kiss him... He really was too soft.

The night of the Demon King Banquet, Kin Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk met outside of the specialized portal that would take them directly to their destination.
They both had their signature coats on but wore formal clothing underneath. Kim Dokja was clad in a black turtleneck underneath a white suit and white slacks. He completed his look with shiny (just bought from the dokkaebi store) dress shoes.
Yoo Joonghyuk was a perfect compliment to Dokja with his white button-down and black three-piece suit and tie. He had shoes similar to Dokja's but without the laces. He also wore black leather gloves to match his coat.
The company went to send them off and all of them raved about how good they looked. Even Lee Jihye admitted that Kim Dokja looked all right tonight. The kids gave their adoptive father a hug and the two were off.
__________________
The portal they went through must've been an expensive one if the lack of dizziness was any indication. They were placed in the garden leading up to the grand hall where the main event was. There were demon kings and their plus ones scattered about and mingling. Kim Dokja thought about taking the time to enjoy the rare flowers and maybe make some connections, but thought better of it. He didn't want Yoo Joonghyuk to have to do this any longer than he has to and harbor any ill will as a result.
While they made their way up the stairs leading to the building, Kim Dokja could feel many, many stares on them. There were those who looked on warily, and others with contempt and greed. Only a couple with anything close to respect. No one missed sizing up the newcomers. He just smiled. It was about time to start their strategy.
[Joonghyuk. Get the door.] He commanded with his true voice, loud enough to be heard by some of the participants below them in the garden.
Yoo Joonghyuk bowed sightly and did as he was told. Immediately, whispering from the guests got very loud and they entered without another word.
Step one, done.
They entered the foyer and were greeted by a "friendly" face.
"Demon King of Salvation! I didn't think this was your scene." The man said, sweet acid dripping from his words like usual.
"Asmodeus." Kim Dokja nodded to him, then shrugged. "I don't particularly like parties, but you know how these mandatory things are. Not even Agares would want to pay the probability for skipping a special scenario like this."
"True enough." Asmodeus then gestured to the perfectly still man sightly behind the other demon king. "Now... Care to explain this? Potion? Ability? Or..?"
Kim Dokja just smiled. "None of the above. I just asked him politely."
The other demon king caught on quickly to what he was planning. He laughed. Oh, this was going to be good. But first...
"What will I get in exchange for keeping your secrets Kim Dokja?"
The man in question tapped his chin. "Hmmm. I wonder?" His grin was as fake as always when he answered. "I guess you'll just have to find out later."
Asmodeus' eyes flitted between the two before a thought popped into his mind. Why wait for fun? He quickly slunk close to Kim Dokja's right side, the one that Yoo Joonghyuk wasn't near, and pulled the man close. He leaned in to whisper against his ear, "I can think of a way you can pay me back right now, Dokja." Lust was in his modifier for a reason and he knew how to get a rise out of someone. He grinned at the involuntary shiver from the other.
Kim Dokja's smile turned a little sour and he stepped back enough to loosen Asmodeus' grip and quickly said, "Trust me, there's something better I have planned so there's no need-" He was cut off by Asmodeus suddenly getting pulled away by his collar by none other than Yoo Joonghyuk. He practically growled at the demon king. "Hands. Off." He emphasized the last word by harshly pushing him away.
Kim Dokja would be a liar if he said he didn't find that tone much more shiver-inducing than what Asmodeus was trying to do earlier.
Instead of being perturbed, he just laughed. "Looks like your pet is protective, Demon King of Salvation."
Kim Dokja shrugged. "He's just doing his job today, nothing else. Now, if you'll excuse us." He beckoned Yoo Joonghyuk to walk with him and the two left for the banquet hall, the latter sending one last glare over his shoulder.
Asmodeus just sighed and thought to himself, "Poor guy. Getting with someone as dense as Kim Dokja would require much less subtlety." Of course... This also meant that he actually had something to look forward to at this banquet for once. He couldn't wait for all the drama that was sure to unfold.
I'm just. The Lone Wanderer as a whole is just so sad. They weren't even passed their teens when they were shoved out into a completely different environment with nothing except confusion and a crappy 10mm. And that's after finding out their little utopia wasn't so great and seeing their close friend aka adopted brother Jonas' corpse and having to leave their only friend. Then they're dragged into a hundred different directions to help this horrid wasteland when all they want is to find their father again.
They go through hell and back and then they find a tiny glimmer of hope when they do find him again. They're back together and completing something that will be good for everyone. Something that their mother wanted. And then even that is cruelly ripped away what would hardly be a few weeks if even in game when the Enclave come and kill their father. And right after that, they get a signal from their old home. They can go back!!! NOPE!!!!!!?;+;(?; they are once again made to solve someone else's problem. Then are promptly kicked out by the girl that they once called their only friend. Back to the wastes
Even after blowing up a military base and once again eluding death, they still have a final meeting with it at the purifier. But at that point God refuses to let them die because apparently watching him suffer is amusing. So they once again help out before fading into obscurity.
While all this happens, the radio station won't stop drawing attention to them and mercs are always targeting them for one reason or another. And they have to go through a vault that makes them relive their trauma thanks to hallucinogenics. And then MORE hallucinations against their will that is just one giant depressive episode!!! Fun!!!
And at the end of it. After sacrificing time and pain and money. How many people can they truly call friend? How many people would help them out the same way they did? Not enough. Not nearly. Lone Wanderer indeed.
Of course I’m participating in Ulysses week. This is the first day’s fic that is the theme - you guessed it - roads
Hope you enjoy!
War, war never changes. But men do, through the roads they walk, and Ulysses has walked down many, many roads. Although... none were so life-altering as the Divide's.
Just a few short years ago, he had lived in darkness, lost his tribe, his way of life, and was forced to work for the man that betrayed him and his family. He walked down roads on orders from Caesar. He went everywhere in the East, undercover as a courier. He even walked the Mojave - was the first one to discover Hoover Dam which resulted in the beginning of the end for the Legion.
He was moving constantly, but it felt like he was stuck in place. So when he was first met with a place so blinding as the Divide, he was speechless. He didn't know such a place could exist, let alone in such an out-of-the-way location. It radiated hope and freedom and everything that his old life lacked. He saw a future here - for himself, and for the country.
They welcomed anyone and everyone: NCR, Legion, wanderers, and more. What kept it afloat though, were couriers. Well, one courier in particular - someone so brave and bold that she constantly traversed the harsh terrain to transport necessary items and messages to her people. She was the one who built the Divide - made it what is was.
She was also the one to destroy it.
Now, as he walked down those same roads that once held his home, all that was left was death and destruction. The pavement split apart, leaving way for creatures like the tunnelers to surface. The landscape was covered in deathclaws and... things... that were barely human anymore.
Walking the Divide now just made him angry. Angry at the Courier for bringing the death, angry at the NCR for giving it to her in the first place, and most of all - he was angry with himself for not being able to move on.
He needed an outlet for that anger, and he found it when he saw a familiar name on the courier ledger in Primm. He would let the Mojave sort her out. If not... he would be waiting at the Divide - let her walk the same roads he did, experience the Divide in its fullness, and meet her at the end. One courier to another.
Do you have any headcannons for what the companions favorite colors are?
I sure do!!!!
Cait:
She thinks they're cool colours and doesn't understand why Deacon and MacCready keep calling her "edgy"
Curie:
Canary yellow because bright, happy colours are so rare in the wasteland
Danse:
Xanadu. He saw in a prewar book once and fell in love
Dogmeat:
The colour of his favourite red ball!!! Longfellow:
An old man with old man tastes
Piper:
Cotton candy. They're cute colors and it reminds her of flowers and candy
Preston:
He first saw the colour periwinkle on a flower in the middle of nowhere and thought that such a lovely thing surrounded by so much waste and radiation suited the minutemen well. He now grows a bunch of them at the Castle
Strong:
Seeing blood red always makes him smile whether it's from actual blood or not
Valentine:
Steel blue. A very noir, calming colour. If he had the liberties of painting his own house, he would paint it with this colour
X6-88:
He secretly adores the colours of the sunset. It's something he never got to see before leaving the institute. No time to look at the sky when you can just teleport
I've hit the ten image limit so I'll rb with the rest!
Madam Panada actually has weak clairvoyant powers that are similar to Mama Murphy's, except without the chems. She can see things like the day's weather, if a customer is going to steal, and if she concentrates, parts of a person's immediate future
Some locals are less aggressive than others, and will generally allow outsiders to pass if they bring some moonshine as a peace offering
I don't know how many of you grew up with a family of rednecks, but in my experience, they love the fall, campfires, and family gatherings
the locals of Point Lookout are no different. Every fall, there's an increase of outside gatherings where they'll dance, sing, eat, and the more religious ones will offer up sacrifices via animals or humans. Just some harmless family fun :)
There are also all kinds of instruments to be found. Banjos are especially popular, though there are only a few around at any time seeing that there aren't many who know how to upkeep them, let alone make them
The LW can find this out, and with it, one of the locals who knows the most about them
They bring them and their banjo to the Capital Wasteland to meet Agatha, and with their combined efforts, find out a way to make the instrument more efficiently
after that, there's more music to be heard in Point Lookout
If having made enough friends in the tribals (get the fertilizer shovel, talking with everyone, not calling them stupid for believing what they do, etc), the LW can have a chance to explain themselves to them. After they find out the truth to their god and that when they "transcended their mind" it really didn't mean anything, they forgive LW, but don't exactly renounce their religion
The ones who got lucky and still have most of higher functioning intact - aka Jackson, Jimson, and (especially) Woodrose - come together and decide that they would keep things more or less how they were, except they would have no false god to follow and would instead continue to focus on nature and letting go of more worldly things
The tribe had become their family. They couldn't abandon everyone after everything they've been through
Though they didn't completely blame Jackson, he still volunteered to step down as leader. Woodrose takes over since she's second highest ranking wise, and Jackson stays as a spiritual advisor
The tribe carries on as it always does, though their initiation doesn't involve removing parts of the brain anymore
As such, Nadine trades actual items for punga fruit. Naturally grown vegetables and fruits are especially popular, but most pre war items are seen as unnecessary and not of nature, so those are turned away
Speaking of Nadine, she does like she said she would, travels wherever she wants. She goes up and down the coast as the weather permits (that's how my LW ends up in Boston) and comes back every few months to see her mother
Desmond finds a different way north, being able to go through radiation as a ghoul
He's gruff, but the LW grew on him a bit. Not having human friends for centuries would result in anyone's people skills tanking
He was impressed by how skilled they were and how well they were able to keep up with him
It still physically pained him to say thank you after everything was done though
Who knows, if they ever make it up to the Commonwealth, maybe they could help him out again
As for Kenny, the LW takes him back to the Capital Wasteland and either brings him to Little Lamplight, or takes care of him themselves
Either way he's really happy to finally be able to go near people, let alone be able to play with children
The older he gets, the better he is with making things and he'll often gift a random contraption to the LW whenever they come by
Romanced companions helping Sole with come down from nightmares? Helping them to breath again or maybe Sole opens up to them about it?
This was asked over a year (two?) ago so uh. Sorry for the late reply lol
Sole watched as their baby boy was taken from them, yelling and grasping at the glass, banging so hard against it, they could feel bruises. Somehow the glass shatters and they fall through the opening, landing heavily on their shoulder. They stumble towards their baby frantically - the bastard Kellogg has him in his disgusting hands. He smiles and raises his gun to blow their brains out. They hear the gunshot, and close their eyes, expecting the worse, but somehow, they would've preferred it to this outcome. They open their eyes and there their spouse is, bleeding from a wound in their head. Sole can suddenly feel the sticky blood that coats their face just as the lifeless corpse falls on them. Trapped underneath, they can't move no matter how hard they try. They reach for Shaun again, but the bastard is already leaving. No matter how much they try, they just. Can't. Move. Their lungs fill with air as they try to let out one last desperate scream-
"SHAUN!!!" They jerk awake, breathing heavily and sweating enough to convince anyone that they just ran a marathon. The images they had just seen sears itselves in their brain.
CAIT: Despite her upbringing and countless struggles, Cait learned how to be soft, if only for Sole. So when she's stirred awake by her love's scream, she's quick to go to their side and immediately start shushing them, reassuring that she's there and always will be. She knows they love her hugs with how strong she is, so she wraps them up in her arms and rocks them back and forth, all while continuing the stream of comforting words. She doesn't show it on the surface, Sole's well being at the moment taking priority, but she is filled with rage on the inside. She knows what made her lover act like this and she swears she'll kill the bastard himself when they find him.
CURIE: Nightmares are not something she is familiar with, but it doesn't take her above average intelligence to figure out that, that is what Sole has just experienced. She still isn't too good with feelings yet but knows that they like it when she's near during these times, so she gently sits beside them and takes their hand. She lays her head on their shoulder and hums a soft song she thinks they'll like. It seems to do the trick when she feels the tension start to leave their body. They can't go back to sleep after that but she doesn't mind. She doesn't need sleep anyway.
DANSE: No stranger to nightmares, Danse immediately goes to Sole and goes through the breathing exercises that he learned helped a little. He asked them if they knew where they are and who he is. After getting confirmation that they're not stuck in whatever hell scape they woke out of, he hugs them. Once the tension starts to leak out of them, he shifts so they're mostly on his lap, using his size to try and encase them completely so they can't think of any of the bad things anymore. Sole falls asleep like that and he can't help but to smile, thankful for him being a synth for once so he can watch over them the entire night.
DEACON: He panics a bit when they scream awake, thinking that they're about to die before registering what it is they said. As soon as he remembers exactly who Shaun is, he's all over Sole - rubbing their back, going through breathing exercises, doing whatever he can to bring them back to reality. Once they do, he smiles softly and kisses them on the forehead. He's been there done that and knows the chances of falling back asleep are low, so he tries a few jokes until he gets them to laugh. The laugh is mostly empty, but he knows they appreciate any distraction they could get.
HANCOCK: This isn't the first time he's been woken up by a nightmare and it certainly won't be the last. He sticks close to Sole until their breathing evens out and once that happens, he convinces them to eat some of the snacks he keeps by the bed. As they munch on long expired chips, he never lets go of their hand.
MACCREADY: Being a dad has it's perks, one of which is knowing how to comfort someone after a nightmare. He goes through the steps he always does for Duncan with Sole, adding a few kisses here and there. He asks them if it's okay to touch before he does anything. He can tell they appreciate the extra care put into his every action. He's just glad he can help them out.
PIPER: She's constantly reassuring them that she's there with them and that she won't stop until Kellogg's been hurt more than they have. She keeps rambling on about anything and everything so they have something else to focus on. She knows it works when she feels the tension start to leave them from where she's pressed up against her side. She smiles and continues her rambling until they fall back asleep.
PRESTON: Preston is probably the most emotionally intelligent out of Sole's friends, and he pays particular attention to his darling. When they wake up and inadvertently wake him up as well, he immediately knows what's going on. A minuteman must always be ready to step into action even in the middle of the night so he doesn't even feel tired as he gently takes their hand and sits in front of them. He goes through the 5 senses exercise - what they can see, hear, touch, etc - until they calm down. Seeing him in front of them being so kind makes Sole almost start crying again, but they go for a hug instead. Preston hugs them as tight as possible and stays up with them until they fall back asleep.
VALENTINE: Being half exposed wiring doesn't really allow for much cuddling, but he'll be damned if he won't try for Sole when they need him. So he gets extra blankets form their linen closet and wraps himself up. The sight of him does pull a strained giggle form Sole and that's a win all on its own, but he can see they're still shaking terribly. He lays them down and wraps himself around them as best he can. While they cling to him like he's the only thing that's keeping their sanity, he retells some of his best detective stories to fill the silence. It takes a while - almost until dawn breaks - for them to fall asleep.
X6-88: The most inexperienced with any form of affection out of the gang, X stumbles a bit with how to help. But for the only person he cares and respects, he'll do anything to make them feel better. He feels bad that he has to ask what to do, but even through the shaking, they tell him and he does it. He works them through a breathing exercise while hugging them. The gentle kisses he places in their hair aren't something that they tell him to do, but guessing by the way the tension seems to fall out of them as they collapse against him completely, it's the right thing to do.
Im on mobile so idk how old the post was but could you do how the fo4 companions feel about cuddles ? Im in a fluffy mood lol
It's chill, it was only earlier today. And sorry in advance if this wasn't what you were aiming towards, I'm not a huge cuddler lol
Ada: Doesn't care one way or the other, although she gets why humans like it so she lets her new friends do it. Physical affection that she does like are pats. Jackson would often do it when he was proud of her. Which was basically all the time. She tries to do it to Sole once in a bout of nostalgia and was quickly reminded how much softer humans are than her.
Cait: Is a tad touch repulsed from all her bad experiences so isn't one for cuddling. The way she shows affection is a slap on the back or a punch to the shoulder. Do the same to her and she'll lay you flat - a fact everyone learned pretty quickly (thanks Deacon). She's only tender with those she truly holds near and dear to her heart. Once she does open up, she's great for it. She likes to hold more than be held. But who would complain with the muscles she has though?
Codsworth: Physically cannot cuddle, but that won't stop Sole from hugging him. He deeply appreciates them.
Curie: Definitely a chronic cuddler. She wants to experience every new thing she can, especially with all her new senses. She'll curl up with anybody that will let her and doesn't have a favourite cuddle position yet. One of two people brave (stupid) enough to directly ask Strong for cuddles.
Deacon: The king of casual touch right there. Him and Hancock get along well. He is 100% the clingy friend and will bother whoever he feels a shred of affection towards until they agree. Whether it's big spoon, little spoon, tangled limbs, or just an arm, he'll get whatever affection he can. He likes to know that the people he loves are still there beside him.
Dogmeat: BRING! ON!! THE CUDDLES!!!!!! A cute puppy like him deserves all the attention and he knows it. Is not afraid to use puppy eyes to get cuddles.
Danse: A tad touch starved. Almost cries everytime someone cuddles with him. He can't believe it because that nagging voice in the back of his head still calls him a monster and he tends to believe it. Almost everyone likes to cuddle with him though cause. Well. He's Big™. Big arms for nice holding. Giant bara tiddies for laying. And is always warm. Plus this way they can help him accept himself more so it's a win win.
Gage: He doesn't mind one way or another but is touched with the gesture all the same. It's not often raiders would cuddle each other after all. Very casual. Pretty much does whatever the other person wants to do. "Lay on your back." "Okay." lays down on him like he's another layer of the couch "Here's a book." "Thanks." And that's that.
Hancock: He's too impatient for actual drawn out cuddles. He likes general skin ship quite a lot though. Whether it's an arm around his friend while walking, a quick hug, or even friendly kisses on the cheek, he's fine with it all. It isn't until he finds someone he truly loves that he'll actually want to sit still and cuddle. Just to bask in his own "sunshine."
Longfellow: Very gruff, does not like people. Cuddles are a big no no. He will, however, ruffle people's hair a lot in the kind way only grandpa's could.
MacCready: He's small enough that cuddles with him feel like wrapping oneself around a cat. They do what they want or they leave but are very cute if settled, much like Mac. He doesn't do it often with how little he trusts people though. When it comes to his son and remembering how little he was hugged as a child, he makes sure Duncan gets plenty of cuddles.
Piper: She's pretty casual about touch as well so she gives out cuddles frequently. Whoever sits next to her will eventually have, at bare minimum, an arm around their shoulders before ten minutes has passed.
Preston: Sunshine boy has trust issues but is also touch starved so as soon as he makes a close friend, he's stuck to them like glue. Even worse if he's dating them. Wants to be touching at all times so he knows they're with him and not going anywhere any time soon.
Strong: There are only two people he hasn't immediately bludgeoned to death when they touched him. Sole, and Curie. The doctor had to sometimes to heal his wounds (with no little amount of complaining from him), but he also thought she was acceptable enough to sate her curiosity when it came to supermutants. He thought she was nice and small enough to not bother him, so he doesn't mind her. Sole explained a concept called "love languages" to him and told him that their main one was physical touch, so cuddles just means that they like him. He thinks being accepted by a cool and smart warrior like Sole in that way is rad as hell.
Valentine: Isn't a fan. Especially with the body he has. Though every one in awhile, if he's in a good enough mood and they (sole, Deacon, Curie, piper) pester him enough, he'll layer himself in clothes and let them cuddle. He can't help but feel fond. The fact that they try so hard to show their affection even if it's inconvenient with his body is very heart warming.
X6-88: He's about as touched starved as a person can get. He wasn't shown a lot of affection at the institute, let alone cuddles. In the Wasteland, with Sole, there are people who would love to buddy up more with him, but mutual distrusts keeps them away too. He thinks he only needs Sole anyway and is perfectly fine with only cuddling them. He's uncomfortable doing it with others near though, so he waits until they're completely alone. He's very affectionate when alone. Eventually, he warms up to some of the others and they get their fair share of cuddles as well. Curie and Deacon show themselves to be commendable.
