Requested by anonymous: Omg omg hello!🤩 I just finished watching Miss The Dragon and now I'm going to find the account that writes for this series? I'm probably going to pass out🤭🤭. You are awesome!❤️ Can I have a request for an Immortal of Fate? Zhu Zanjin is one of my favorite actors you know... The reader is an angel with broken wings. She is looking for a solution to repair the wings. At the recommendation of the bird elf (I can't remember her name now) to go see the Immortal of Fate, the angel does. There she meets him and asks for his help. Once the medicine/spell takes effect, the angel tries to fly again but fails. In one of the attempts, she falls to Immortal of Fate😁 Then they realize that they are in love with each other, fate brought them together💘💘💘 Thank you very much and have a nice day!

You sigh as you look at the temple in front of you, unsure if you should actually head in. You remember Xiao Qing's words, how she had told you to come here to fix her wings.
You had crashed into the forest, having broken one of your wings and even tearing the skin to the bone. You didn't even remember what had happened, only having woken up with a searing pain in your back and right wing. You travelled a bit and happened to stumble into Xiao Qing, the bird elf immediatley knowing how to help you with your wing temporarily. She wrapped it for you, and like many, assumed you were also a bird elf like her. You didn't really correct her, not knowing how you'd explain you being an angel, not an elf. Nonetheless, you spend enough time with her before she suggests you head to the immortal of fate to get treated.
So now you stood here, watching the entrance as you rolled your shoulder, testing you wing a bit again before sighing as you felt the familiar sting of pain shooting up through your body. So you stepped closer, taking soft and careful steps to not make your wing hurt more. As you step inside, you can't help but marvel at the large space, especially all the books way up in the air.
"May I help you?" A voice asked and you turn your head to look at whoever it was, seeing a young-looking man dressed in beautiful white robes. You couldn't help but pause as you see him, he looked almost like an angel as well. Then you snap out of it.
"Right... Uh, I'm (Y/n)..." You mumble as you turn to face him fully, bowing slightly at the man. He gives you a nod back as he folds his hands behind his back, remaining in place as his eyes shifted to your wings. He seemed to be wondering what you were or why there was some makeshift bandage on your wing.
"Uh... I was referred to you for help... My wing got hurt and it isn't healing that well..." You explain shortly as you show your injured wing a bit more, wincing in pain when you stretch the muscles of your wing. The man nodded and walked closer, gently touching your wing and removing the bandages to check the wound.
"How did you get an injury this bad?" He asks gently as he inspected the wound, touching the side of the wound softly. You look at him before looking away.
"I fell..." You mumble, your face heating up a bit out of embarrassment at how stupid it sounded. The man looked up at you with a raised eyebrow, confused at your words. Then he stood back up straight and folded his hands back behind his back again.
"You are not a mere elf, are you?" He asks and you look up before sighing softly, nodding at him as you fold your wings again. He lets out a soft hum as answer before sighing softly as he turned his back to you, looking up while pondering about something. Then he raised his hand as something floated down, a small box that held some kind of medicine.
"Please sit." He mumbles as he motioned to the chair in front of him. Once you were sitting in front of him, he opened the box and gently started applying it to the wounds on your wing. You instantly felt the aching in your wing disappear, the medicine not only cooling off the area but also numbing it enough to give you some relief. Your wing relaxes as you let out a sigh of content, slumping over a bit as you relaxed. A low chuckle came from the man behind you as he put the medicine away before sitting down opposite of you.
"So... If not an elf, may I ask what you are?" He asks carefully as he kneels, grabbing the kettle and pouring some tea in two cups before pushing one cup to you. You smile and take the cup, raising it to your lips and taking a sip.
"Well... Do you believe in Heaven and Hell?" You ask and he nods. "Well, I am not unfamiliar with the underworld, however I have not been to the heavens." He spoke ever so gently, his fingers curling around the cup of tea in front of him. You sigh softly once more as you put the cup down on the table again, looking down a bit.
"Well... It's not much, so don't worry." You chuckle softly as you look back up at him. He seems to pause at your statement, eyebrow raising up before he nods, a soft smile appearing on his face again.
"Ah, an angel?" He asked, lifting his cup to his lips as he quietly sipped his tea. You could only nod in silence, unable to actually say the confirmation as you drink your own tea.
From then on, you stay with him after he generously offered you a room. Every day, he'd help you apply medicine and every day you'd be disappointed when your wings wouldn't let you fly. Even when the wound seemed to have healed, you were stuck on the ground in a place that you didn't belong.
Today was no different, as Xingjun read at the center table with a cup of tea beside him while you were trying out your wings for what seemed the millionth time. At the moment, you were only able to float above the ground by a few meters and your face was scrunched in concentration as you tried to fly higher. As you rise a bit more, you suddenly feel a sharp sting in your injured wing before you felt your entire wing paralyze. You yelp in pain before you feel yourself falling, yet you landed softer than expected. When you glance up, you are met with Xingjun's gaze and you instantly feel your face heat up at how close you were. You tried to get up, but the pain in your back and in your wings forced you to stay down on his chest. He sat up, noticing the wince you let out as you sat up, and swiftly moved to help you sit more comfortably. He softly moved you and touched your wing, massaging the muscle a bit to help you relax.
"You shouldn't force yourself so much." He spoke softly, looking at you with that gentle gaze that you had grown to love. You got off his lap and tried to hide your flustered state as he kept massaging your wing. He either didn't notice or just didn't comment on it, continuing his actions in a gentle manner. You sat there for quite awhile, just remaining quiet while he massaged the sore muscles of your wing. Meanwhile you were still flustered and staring away to hide your face, your free wing covering yourself slightly.
"You don't have to worry. You can stay here as long as is necessary. I like having you around." He speaks softly and you look at him in surprise.
"You want me to stay?" You ask him, raised eyebrow at him. He nodded at you, his hands coming to cup your face gently.
"As long as you want. Having you around is best for me."
